  1. Thank you Linus and your team for all the content you made over the past years ! How did I found out about LinusTechTips ? Well back in 2011 I got a brand new computer ! I didn't know too much about the components inside of it, since my dad bought it without me even knowing about it. And there was I on youtube searching for my motherboard : MSI 890GXM-G65 and there was Linus talking about it ! I liked the way he unboxed it and presented it ! But I didn't subscribe since I didn't have youtube account ! Later on 2012 I made myself youtube account and I remembered about Linus and I subscribed to him ! But since then I used few youtube accounts and every single of them is subed to LinusTechTips But, to be honest, I started watching and following LinusTechTips actively since last year at this time (September) ! I wanted to learn as much as possible about PC hardware and technology in general. Since I am too lazy to read I ,as I said, started watching LinusTechTips. It was fun to watch Linus with his *jokes*. I learnt fast and easy, it was fun to me, it made laugh and it sometimes made my day So once again, Thank you LinusMediaGroup for making AWESOME CONTENT and keep on rocking ! P.S. This was written from heart, not only for giveaway! If I get to be a lucky winner you can skip me and do *random* again and give it to someone else, if you want to !
  2. From JayZ my favourite (the whole series, but I will post the last one ): - From TechQuickie : - Good luck to everyone
  3. Go with EVGA 780 SLI 6 GB and install a custom bios on them and overclock the hell out of them ! They should serve you at least 2 (maybe even 3) years @ 1440p
  4. Bosnia and Herzegovina ! I will probably get 750 Ti after all I might get R7 260x if my budget falls little bit behind, you never know what can happen ! Thank you all for your responds !
  5. R7 260x uses same amount of power as mine GTS 450 ! So that isn't that much of a problem !
  6. I am planning on upgrading my GPU. So far I am deciding between 260x or 750 Ti. The 750 Ti costs 26 USD more than 260x ! The 260x is from ASUS and 750 Ti si from Palit (StromX Dual) ! Is it worth paying that 26 USD for 750 Ti ? NOTE that 260x comes with 2 free games ! I will probably pair them with intel i3-4150. My PSU is 400 W from Silverstone! I have 1050p monitor. Thanks in advance ! P.S. I am not from America-the continent, I am from small country in Europe !
  7. I haven't read all the comments but I would suggest you to grab some used GPU from last gen some 6xx series( maybe GTX 660 ? OR at least 750 Ti from EVGA the FTW Edition ! ) and wait for the new 8xx series and get maybe GTX 880 Ti (if the price matches yours budget) GTX 660 should be good for 1080p but 750 Ti should also give you decent FPS @ 1080p ! (+ lower TDP, you will save money for dem GPUs ) It is better to be patient and not to waste money. You can get dual GTX 780 and plan to sell them, but everyone knows that their prices will go down, especially used ones, when new GPUs arrive ! In the end, you have the money, you decide ! Have a nice day ! ^^
  8. GTS 450 1 GB model from EVGA Mostly gaming, little bit of 3D modeling and also I record here and there ^^ I am hoping soon to upgrade to 750 Ti from Palit (StromX Dual 2GB Model ) ~ crazy overclock out of the box
  9. So you are willing to waste your money and get "more bad" GPU just because you are fanboy ... That is bad and you should feel bad ... BUT hey it is your money, do whatever you want ... BTW Between those two cards I would go with GTX 660, GTX 660 is better overall
  10. I like the adjustable keyboard ! Also the dual window function is not bad Nice review Linus !
  11. Hi everyone What is more smarter thing to do : - Go for 2 GB model of weaker card - Go for 1 GB model of stronger card The resolution on which I will be playing is 1680x1050. BUT I also have second monitor with resolution of 1280x1204. The second monitor is "used" mostly by my dad, who watches some shows while I am playing games on the bigger monitor. So the second monitor 90 % of the will be playing videos ! Now will the 260x be able to push new games(such as BF4, GTAV etc.) with only 1 GB @ medium details around 35+ fps while playing a video on the other monitor (possibly 720p video ) ? Or should I go with 2 GB model 250x from ASUS ? The rest of the system : MOBO : MSI 890GXM-G65 RAM : 6 GB CPU : FX - 6300 @ stock speeds PSU : Silverstone 400 W Thanks in advance
  12. This one : http://www.winwin.ba/ or http://shop.imtec.ba/naslovna/ Do take NOTE that prices are not in € they are in BAM ! And my budget in BAM is 640 BAM !
  13. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina, small country close to Italy ! The PC will be used for gaming, video recording, editing and programming ! My budget in € is tops 320 € ! @bronsonp4htdude123455 I am getting GTX 750 Ti mostly because of Shadow Play and low TDP ! (I won't have to change my PSU ! )
  14. Hello everyone I am new to this forum even thought I follow linus tech tips youtube channel for a looong time Now to the point ! I want to upgrade my PC this summer, because it is getting kinda old ! At the moment I have : - CPU : AMD Athlon II x4 640 @ 3.00 GHz - MOBO : MSI 890GXM-G65 - GPU : nVidia GTS 450 1 GB GDDR5 - RAM : 6 GB ( 3 x 2 GB) @ 1333 MHz - PSU : Silverstone Strider Essential 400 W - Case : Silverstone PS05-B Precision (it supports ATX and micro-ATX boards) I am planning to change my GPU and my CPU ! For the GPU I am going to buy nVidia GTX 750 Ti from ASUS or MSI . For the CPU I have 2 options : - 1. Option is to get AMD FX-8320, since I have AM3+ MOBO. - 2. Option is to get new FM2+ MOBO (this one for example : http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/A88XPLUS/) and AMD Athlon II x4 760K ! I am more attracted to option No. 2 since AM3/AM3+ is dead if I am not wrong ? So it is kinda better investment ? Which option is better ? Do you have any tips for me ? What would you do ? The budget is around 450 $ -> NOTE: I am from small country from Europe in which pc parts are sometimes more expensive than in the USA or Canada ! Thanks in advance
