They are also threatening to close all social medias if they don't block negative content that threatens the nation\

At this point, if the internet doesn't comply to Indonesian government's wimps, I'd be in the dark. The government has already blocked Reddit in light of the uncensored contents in it. Porn is a big NO NO too (cleavage is part of porn, as it seems).
My country summed up really well by Rong Rong
(note: I translated the Indonesian articles by myself, so I'm sorry if there's any wrong grammar and such.)

The Ministry has finally got a response from Telegram's CEO and has agreed to delete terrorist contents as per the Ministry's request. As Telegram doesn't seem to have a direct communication link with the Indonesian government, the request was sent through a public channel and seemed to have passed through without being checked. They've agreed to make a more direct communications line with the government.
It seems like because Telegram is relatively new and small compared to other chat apps, they don't seem to have a grasp of the language/culture to properly take care of it.
At the end of the day, even if Telegram is blocked, these groups would probably use other means of communication. But as long as my government doesn't try to snoop into privacy, the outrage should subside. There's really no specific internet privacy laws, just the regular "your privacy is your privacy, but can be taken away if needed for the court of law". Telegram seems to also agree that privacy is more important though, so I just hope that they don't succumb to demands of backdoors, should any come in the future

Gotta love it!
Here, we just repeat the word to make it plural, hahaha

Let's say you want to say Children. The Indonesian word for child is anak, therefore the plural would be anak-anak.
We also have something english speakers don't have: Kita (you and I) and Kami (other people and I)

'Murican enough?
PS: Not an american, so I don't really know what american food actually is. Grease, fat, and fry, are usually what comes up to my head

Yeah, but having it only there doesn't really excuse it
Right now they got the flamethrower out when they could've just used a punch
I have yet to hear of this pigeon joke. A recycle wouldn't be bad
They'd censor guns, cigarettes, knives, and plenty of handheld "bad things" by just blurring it out.
To get rid of blood, they greyscale the whole thing. I'm not joking. Parts that have blood would be greyscaled to shit
Though this only happens in TV-viewings. I have yet to find it in cinemas. Imagine how bad it would be watching John Wick if that happens to cinemas too
Oh, they censor Sandy from spongebob if she's out of her suit cause seeing a squirrel in a bikini is too indecent. Basically anything that shows cleavage. If your ass has cleavage, it'll be censored
They seem to use keywords and manual blocks for pornsites. Porn forums where the address is its actual numerical address don't usually get blocked.
Yes.... Pls.... I beg of you......the longer this place stays like this, the more braincells the country would lose

That's why at the start of my first programming class, the lecturer told us how to turn a PC on
Then proceeds to never come to class...........

My mom questioned my decision to buy a 960 cause it costs as much as her soon to be Asus X200MA. She thinks that all computer hardware runs the same, when she already knows how awful it is to deal with old crappy hardware (A vaio with an E 450)

People in many Indonesian tech forums still refer to Radeon GPUs as ATI and that makes me cringe. And whenever they want a PC built with a certain amount of money and they call it a CPU, I just show 'em a CPU with the aforementioned price and told them that they said CPU and not a PC when they asked.

I thought you'd start with "Listen here you blithering idiot"It's not really a bad experience, but my dad doesn't know that there are different kinds if keyboards. I'm trying to save some money to get him a better keyboard, possibly brown, cause his arm was injured quite a while ago and I just want to help him type easier

If I could just do that for my PC, I'd have no PC!
Some mom wanted to buy a flashdrive while I was looking for a mouse. The shopkeeper was techsavvy, so he recommended sandisk cause it's fast (usb 3.0), cheap, and robust. It had a keychain hook that was big enough and strong enough to not break and still fit into your small jeans pocket. She still insisted on an HP flashdrive that was thinner yet flimsier at the same price but getting usb 2 instead of usb 3.

That went bad fast
Anyway, one time in english class my teacher went out for a bit after turning the computer on. So, I did what any student would do. I downloaded a bluescreen wallapaper, put it up, ended explorer.exe, and VOILA, his face was priceless as he tumbled about pressing anything before restarting the PC.
Note: All of my former high school's PCs had DeepFreeze on, so he didn't suspect anything. Perfect crime

And another one i remembered
True story
I have a friend, genius, IQ of 155, grades above 90, awesome at playing he piano, the textbook stereotypical asian kid.
He asked me 2 questions in succession.
1. Can your CD/usb get viruses if you don't cover it up?
2. Can you move files by rubbing usb sticks together?
He was dead serious

nekomata got a reaction from DocSwag in Experiences with non-techies
Some bloke had broken his PC, and he asked on facebook about what processor he's using when on his picture it clearly said Anthlon X4 630. He deducts that his CPU needs to be replaced without further investigation besides saying that the damn thing overheated before. When people said that it could be something else, like VRM, he then asked if he needed to replace his RAM
Goodness gracious
