  1. Agreed with AdamIsaacLang, an antivirus won't catch 75% of malware on a computer used to browse the web regularly. Most decent antivirus nowaydays though give you the option of adding exceptions, I use Avast and it works fine- it leaves me alone, and it catches something from time to time.
  2. Have you tried booting into a Linux OS from a flash drive?
  3. I completely disagree, a good sound card can greatly improve the audio quality. They support higher bit rates /depth. And don't have the noise problems you'd run into on an integrated soundcard. Increased quality means larger sound stage, cleaner audio, and can bring out qualities in your audio source that may have been previously suppressed by a built in sound card. Keep in mind that all computers have some form of audio processor, and they require drivers. Some are automatically installed by Windows, some you have to install drivers (normally located on driver disk for mb).
  4. ^ give this guy a prize. Although you're looking at 250-300 USD. This is the best advice on the thread if you want to seriously improve audio quality.
  5. What? It sounds to me like interference/weak signal.
  6. Nope, I'm not. I must mention though... I don't have a 7870... Or BF4.
  7. Alas, the day will come when I look at a carton of eggs and the fine print will read "Naturally and Artificially flavored".
  8. It's EA man.. who knows.. To be honest I'm not sure, many programs do that, especially design suites like software from Autodesk or Adobe.. You could write a little program that was the launcher and it would determine which bit version to run based on if WOW64 was running in the background, but I don't know why it hasn't been done.. Programmers probably ran out of coffee..

Abstract algebra you say? That sounds redudant...
  10. if you have 64bit CPU then you should run the 64 bit version of the game because it is optimized to run on a 64 bit processor. No other way to put it..
  11. M50s are pretty efficient, not necessary.
  12. Exactly. Nowadays you can pick up even the 380s for 100 at best buy. Imo best choice for budget studio phones.
  13. Best bet is JDSLabs Cmoy. Edit: my bad.. Thought discussion was amps. Agreed with tge the general consensus though, building a dac isn't efficient but it's a good learning experience imo. I think whether or not the work is justifiable is OP's decision.
