  1. Rainbow Six: Siege, modded Arma 3, and various Singleplayer Titles
  2. Looking to build a new system. My main use is gaming with occasional video editing and photoshop. Which CPU makes the most sense for me? Should I wait for Coffee Lake? Researching ive seen the 1700x beat the 7700K in gaming and other sources have the 7700K beating the 1700x in gaming.
  3. Okay found a new mouse, so far no issues.
  4. I have a Mionix Naos 7000 that Ive had for coming up on 4 years now and im confident but not 100% confident that the problem is the mouse itself. Mostly during gaming during heavy mouse use and sometimes on the desktop during light mouse use. OK so onto the actual problem: My mouse stops responding for a second or 2 then goes back to normal. Today it happened almost every 5-10 seconds. Some days its worse than others like today, and other days it works fairly okay and only happens sometimes intermittently. Sometimes, its so bad that it permanently stops responding until i physically unplug the mouse from the USB and plug it back in. The braiding on the cable is completely frayed off in a 2ft section but the cable itself is intact. I updated the firmware and software and also tried every single USB port on my PC with the same results. The only thing I have not tried is using a different mouse (yes, im aware I need to do this to be sure its actually a mouse issue but I really dont want to go digging for another mouse ).
  5. The sensor on my Naos 7000 is dying after about 3 long hard years of use (not implying I'm hard on my mice, just heavy gaming) and Im in the market for a replacement. Im either going to get another Naos 7000 or get a Zowie EC2-A. Im a heavy palm gripper which is why i love the comfortability of the Naos 7000 so much, but at the same time, Im willing to try something new and possibly an overall better mouse. Mionix Naos 7000 Zowie EC2-A

I was looking for the same thing from your post a while back, finally found them on there website, thought I would share :)

  7. Probably not. Unless you can find something to disable shadows. Most people don't realize how taxing shadows are.
  8. 1) Overclocked GTX 980Ti 2) Want the more immersive experience
  9. I currently have a Benq XL230T 144Hz 1080p monitor and I really want to get an ultrawide. My only real concern is that the Acer Predator x34 is 100Hz. You know what they say, "once you experience 144Hz, you'll never go back". Ive read mixed opinions on differences between 100Hz and 144Hz. Should i go for the Predator x34 or should i keep my Benq XL2430T?
  10. Which would you prefer or think is better and why?
  11. This board has a 4+1 Phase VRM and am worried about FX 8350 support. I WILL NOT be doing any overclocking and am wondering if it will still cause issues at stock. I know OCing on a 970 chipset is not recommended and especially not with a 4+1 phase VRM. Will it be okay at stock clock? Or should i get a 990FX?
  12. What tubing size do you recommend for a CPU+GPU (4790K+980Ti) Loop in a Corsair Carbide Air 540 AND WHY? You can recommend other sizes too
  13. Planning on building my first custom loop and would like thoughts and opinions or objections. Will be doing a CPU+GPU loop, CPU is a 4790K and GPU is a Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Edition (NON EXTREME). My case is a Corsair Carbide Air 540 and I have a black and orange theme. Parts List: CPU Block - EK-Supremacy EVO - Acetal+Nickel GPU Block - EK-FC Titan X - Acetal+Nickel Radiator - Black Ice Nemesis 360GTS XFlow Pump/Res - EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM Fittings - Bitspower Premium G1/4" Matte Black Compression Tubing - PrimoChill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT - Pearl UV Orange Drain Setup - Splitter - EK-AF Y-Splitter Rotary 2F-1M G1/4 - Black Drain Port - EK-AF FillPort G1/4 - Black Fans - Noctua NF-F12 PWM "Linus Tech Tips Special Edition" Fluid - Distilled Water with biocide and coil Splitter will be going onto the outlet of the pump (lowest part of the loop) with the fill port that will just act as a cap that can be removed for easy loop draining. Missing anything? Thoughts, opinions, or suggestions?
