  1. Time for my attention whore post: I'ma leaving. I've gone through some forums before, always joined and left without making a fuss but why not this time? Here are my reasons: Blatant hate toward all things Nintendo. Did all of you forget how to have fun? 100% blatant hate toward religion and all things religion (my religion doesn't teach 99% of the evil things I'm told it does) The difficulty of coming across someone who doesn't lean to the left on this forum (some spawn of Reddit, or I'm not a wizard) And my most important one: Arguments turn into eight-paragraph essay-length posts where both people "didn't read the other argument" or "puts words into their mouth" or "creates ad hominem's" when I'm convinced both forgot what any of those statements actually mean and the original argument is lost by the third response. It was fun when I was folding around a year ago, then addicting for the months after that. I learned a lot from the olde Whaler and that was worth the cringes I've seen Luigi Begone
  2. Just buy these if you want Gunnar's... Fraction of the price, same placebo http://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=amber+safety+glasses&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aamber+safety+glasses But really just go see an eye doctor, take a day's rest if you think eye fatigue will really affect your results (the eye doctor will probably tell you it doesn't make a massive difference)
  3. I've read this thread 15 times but I can't figure out which person is raging against Nintendo and which person is raging for Nintendo. The comments make it seem like there's a fight between both sides, but both responses are as confusing as the other... Ah who cares, Nintendo Master Race
  4. It all started with Oblivion and LEGO Star Wars, I've always had better-than-required computers after I couldn't run those two games
  5. Yes I think my German timeline of nuclear capability is a time off (very badly off) but I was more emphasizing Einstein
  6. Germany didn't get close to making a nuke, and to date they never have. Einstein (who didn't directly help build the bomb at any point) wouldn't have sent that letter to Roosevelt urging the USA to make a nuke if he had known the Germans weren't actually close to making a bomb. That letter probably wouldn't have stopped us anyway. To date the Germans have never made a nuke, and I think the nukes they have were ones we gave them. The Nazis had some really weird experiments going on but they weren't the Wolfenstein-level mad dogs everyone thinks they were. Russia wasn't 'really' close, more 4 years late to the nuclear party and probably only so soon because they had spies in the Manhattan Project
  7. That Secret Service director resigned because she was apparently borderline retarded and incapable of protecting one of the most powerful people on the planet who has access to the best defense force on the planet. That's impressive.
  8. It's a good thing I'm a filthy loner, but I wasn't going to buy Farcry 4 anyway. So far Ubisoft will only sell me Framework Engine games
  9. Do you mean ones with or without the blazing orange tip? It's kind of a dead giveaway that it isn't a real gun, savvy or not.
  10. Americans didn't land on the moon and Hiroshima was never bombed either. Keep awake sheep!
  11. It makes no sense because you can't get money from a dead man. It's more profitable to say "here's a cure to cancer, that'll be 1 million dollars" instead of "here's chemo, it might or might not work, that'll be 250,000 dollars."
  12. Everything had small capacities in the 90s... If that's true (which I doubt because Nintendo had their own moulds and probably their own boards, most of the cost went into the licensing fees that were different for each developer) then we're still paying less for games today than we were in the 90s because of inflation, only the companies are making more money. I haven't actually paid full price for a game for a very long time thanks to Steam and Dealzon so I'd say we're better off today than 20 years ago.
  13. An airsoft gun can take out an eye so that doesn't surprise me, at least if you get hit in the eye with a normal gun you're dead. bad logic yes I know
  14. This already makes no sense. In America under the second amendment it's 100% legal and fine to make your own firearm, you just can't distribute or sell it. People are always putting together their own pistols and rifles, and they have lots of conventions and shows to show it off. It's not talked about very often, and the media seems to ignore that this is allowed. As for Japan, they have problems of their own like supposedly going to be at 50% their current population by 2100. They have more than guns killing them off
