  1. get CPU-z and check if the CPU is giving itself more voltage to support the higher clock speed
  2. oh ok,i see also the cooler is freaking sweet. i dont know why but its so ugly...that its pretty again. i dont know why but it looks very professional
  3. are you serious? what does APM even do? if thats my problem i might try to OC again
  4. RMA that thing, god damn i hate water cooling stuff
  5. what do you have installed then... its not very cpu intensive as you can see.
  6. turns out i just understood whats going on,because of cool&quiet the cpu underclocks itself and lowers the voltage so i can get down to 20C with ease when im really not doing anything. under load tho i get up to 40-50C tho..it seems to look like prime95 is not so stressfull on it even tho the load is on 100% the nh-u14s is probably just doing an awsome job
  7. i have a 8350,there is no way i wont be bottlenecking the 980 or whatever when it comes out,the gtx770 is probably the highest end option i could go with anyways so an upgrade would be all the major components
  8. #Amdmasterrace bro  i have a gtx700 and a 8350 basically poop brown (only a few people got the joke, but if your one of them your currently smiling)
  9. when im getting mad at my pc running to slow. usually when you upgrade a pc,all the components are outdated so yea "just upgrading the video card" is a pretty meh move if your processor wasnt ever the "super high end" at the first place that it could support that faster video card
  10. we all understood what you meant,he clearly tried to correct you on something that wasnt wrong. it does need alot of vram - crossfire doesnt mean you get more.
  11. dunno why you would want to cripple your 290x for the lower end 290 but i have no clue really. never used a multi-gpu setup
  12. well, in my case the cpu drooped with the slightest overclock and llc did fix the droop but resulted in high voltages so im running stock ... maybe enabling it can fix the drooping..play around with it. dunno what setting you will have but i only had llc - auto/enable/disable so i couldnt tweak much. wish you luck tho
  13. usually sufficient air cooling is better then rather medium water cooling. a nh-u14s or nh-d14 will probably cool it more reliably with less points of failure (no pump and stuff) cant leak usually a better choice. if you have place in your case, and the company gives you your money back i would definitely get air cooling
  14. perfectly normal. im trying to look what it could be.. in cpuz what is your voltage&clock speed?
  15. its called voltage drooping,if you have LLC you can fix it
  16. i do stream alot actually, which is the main reason i got the 8350 because i knew i would have more headroom for multitasking. but since OBS uses my gtx770 to encode the stuff im not gaining so much. and you not being able to fully utilize your i7 processor is just as annoying as in my case but i7s still have better per core performance so you cannot compare them really. and no warframe and planetside2 are not a gameboy emulators. they are modern games and in planetside2 (if you ever played it) the main bottleneck is always the CPU because in huge battles you can get around 45-50 fps where in your warp zone you can easly get 75 fps with almost no graphical bottleneck. me not being able to utilize my cores where i really need them to work where there are THOUSANDS of players jumping around all over the place i think utilizing all the cores is a no brainer on a NEW ENGINE they made just for the game. why are game devs so ignorant to the "intel higher end" and amds stuff.
  17. so having 4 twice as strong cores as 8 normal cores would give better performance on a 8 core optimized game? i doubt it. if that was true 1 single powerful core would have stayed mainstream till now
  18. its still a mainstream game, its a roll model if you ask me. soon there wont be 2 cores around and 6core will be mainstream then 8...i wish AMD would make some kind of trick to make the opposite of hyperthreading,to combine cores on low threaded tasks getting as much performance as possible...that would be really cool actually
  19. i think warframe is a great game,it runs amazingly smooth for the way it looks seriously. it runs like a game from 2007 and looks so amazing that i dont know what kind of magic is going on behind the scenes you know why? because its becoming mainstream and having more then 4 cores isnt "enthusiast extreme blablabla" i didnt say support the 24core monster. but 8 cores is now a thing, wellcome
  20. turns out buying a 2core and having bad performance because there arent enough CORES is stupid because you limited your performance with your choice of getting a 2core part getting an 8core and saying why isnt it being used, there are more cores - which arent used for no reason can be blamed on the dev. because they didnt give support for more cores. where having a 2core means you didnt give support for more cores ~consumers more work = less money ~game devs
