  1. @DeViLzzz Yes. It's probably the way things are gonna go down, and eBay has a HUGE market, specially in my home town. A bunch of us started buying things over from eBay and it soon became a fucking fever! Also, someone quoted nuuvem.com.br which's a local online game site. It's Steam prices, which Valve keeps (somehow) at the same price as you guys in the U.S. pay for games, they only apply conversion taxes. If you were to buy the retail box on a store in a mall, for example, you could expect almost a 100% mark-up. I was in the U.S. earlier this year for easter and the price difference in the laptop I bought paid for the whole trip itself. No joke. And by the way, it's not taxes, as some people said. Even though the average buying power here is much much lower than in the U.S., there is also a good amount of people willing to pay R$4.000 on said console for "status". I guess Sony picked up on it and did that stupid mark-up.
  2. I don't know. I think I rather like it's metallic silver-ish finish. Looks classy. Though more options are never a bad thing...
  3. Well, you also should factor in the Never Settle Bundle, if you don't already own these games: http://sites.amd.com/us/promo/never-settle/Pages/nsreloaded.aspx That's A LOT of value you can squeeze out of your GPU purchase.
  4. Going in for the five entries! This post. @rodrigosaad: https://twitter.com/rodrigosaad/status/340880109043064832 Facebook: Rodrigo Rodrigues: https://www.facebook.com/RodrigoSaadRodrigues/posts/10201011373944133 Come on! Let me win!
  5. I so want it! https://twitter.com/rodrigosaad Actually easier to verify: https://www.facebook.com/RodrigoSaadRodrigues/posts/10201005917167717
  6. I own a Galaxy S3 that I mainly use for medical apps and social networking.
  7. I find this a decent solution. Not everyone likes huge phones. I already find my S3... unnervingly big, coming from an iPhone 4G, so that's the kind of phone I might go for.
  8. Huge thanks to Linus Media Group and HTC for this AWESOME giveaway! Twitter share: @rodrigosaad: https://twitter.com/rodrigosaad/status/339799077497753603
  9. Well. That's kinda misinterpretating that. Clay, which's made of sillica, cannot form bone, which's made of mainly calcium and phosphate, even though there are other ions involved. Also, sillica will not become the cellular matrix of the bone. What they did do was induce stem cells (which already are human cells) to become bony tissue cells. AWESOME news, nonetheless. We're an aging species and bone disease is only going to grow.
  10. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/apple-imac-ssd-upgrade-option,22417.html So, it was about time. I mean, my dad has had Apple PCs for years now because he thought they were so responsive, until the day I added an SSD for my machine. However, I don't see this impacting sales at all for them, because, seriously, which Mac users even know what an SSD is?! And from that angle, I do understand their move to delay SSD adding. ... Just so I don't lose the pun: Pricing is still ridiculous.
  11. I don't know about you, but I've got 780MHz on my GTX570 and, even though I'm not playing the newest and heaviest games, I still get pretty decent with it on my 1080p screen. So, if you can hold on some more (which'll be doing until I graduate this year), I think you should be better off.
  12. Which PhysX ready games do you play? I think the dedicated PhysX card wouldn't add that much performance, if it does at all. (Linus' video shows it didin't on Mafia, for exemple.) You're better off selling them both and getting a higher end card, if you can.
  13. Why wouldn't someone overclock their processors, wether AMD or Intel?
  14. I thought so too, specially coming from someone big like HP. I think this might be their break from their piss-poor attempts at tablets.
