  1. 20-80€ more on average for used one.
  2. You can't buy rx 580, and I prefer 2 year warranty, I'm not into buying second hand gpus Ryzen 7 5800x Cheapest used 5500XT was for 350€ so same price as 6500XT but prolly used for mining and not in warranty
  3. Hey, I need help with picking new GPU. I currently use radeon r9 280x and this gpu is basically the last component I need to upgrade. I live in EU and it's even worse here when it comes to pricing. I could buy rx 6500xt for roughly 340€ ( 385$ ) because it's currently the cheapest decent graphic card on the market in my country, or should I spent more for potentially mediocre performance boost? Cheapest 1660 which should be equal or maybe slightly better than 6500xt goes for 500€ ( 567$ ) / Cheapest 1660 super goes for 605€ ( 686$ ) / Cheapest 3060 is 867€ ( 983$ ) My goal is to play new games at least on medium with 60+ fps, my current gpu struggles with 45 on low and yes I do have B550 plus that supports Pcie gen 4.
  4. Thank you for your replies, maybe that smoking part was a bit misleading, because I saw no visible dmg on anything and the fact that when I changed my power extension socket and PSU, my system worked with no issues for 4 months straight. If something was damaged from previous crashes or from that some smoking incident, I would not able to use that computer for 4 months. Temperatures were ok, cpu and gpu and ram clock was normal, even loading times and ssd worked fine so I don't think even minor damaged occured. My current pc spec: GPU: Sapphire r9 280x dual-x Mobo: Asus TUF gaming b550-plus CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO Red RAM: Corsair 2x8GB kit DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 SSD : ADATA Ultimate SU650 SSD 240 GB HDD : Seagate BarraCuda HDD 1 TB HDD: WD Blue 1TB PSU ( Current ) : Corsair TX750M 80+ Gold PSU ( Old one ) : CX600 80+ bronze Case: MAG VAMPIRIC 010X
  5. Hey, thank you for reading my post and trying to help because I'm becoming more and more desperate, Please , if there is someone who can help me, I'm literally willing to pay him. It's a semi-complicated issue but I'll try to make it as short and coherent as possible. I'm having an ongoing pc crashing problem for almost 10 months. Brief history of what I did and what happened before: I upgraded my PC, basically fully except GPU and PSU and everything worked well for like 4 months. After that period, my PC started crashing randomly, sometimes it ran for couple of days, other times even weeks before it crashing again, Sometimes just turning on and off power button on the power extension socket was enough, other times I had to re-plug my GPU before it started working again. All temperatures were ok, so it wasn't overheating. Knowing that I thought GPU might be the issue so I borrowed a new one, rx 590 and the same thing happened. It crashed after couple of days again, However that crash was different, I heard loud fan spinning on gpu, it ramped up to 100% before crashing. So I was convinced now that the old PSU must be the issue, because after that I had an accident where I saw literall smoke coming off from my pc case. I inspected everything, even PSU but nothing seemed to be damaged, I was even able to start the pc again after an hour or so. Anyway I bought new PSU, my old was corsair CX600 80+ bronze and I replaced it with Corsair TX750M 80+ Gold. Unfortunatelly that did not help it and I experienced another crash. But this time, probably because this new PSU is built different, having an additional failsafe mechanism or something in that nature, I wasn't able to start the computer again... well at least not normally. I had to use my old PSU to "kickstart" my PC so it would work again. I assume old PSU did not have that safe mechanism and that was the reason I was able to start my pc normally. Somehow after "kickstarting" pc with my old PSU, I was able to reconnect my new PSU again and for some wierd reason, it worked normally. I googled and asked around and I was told that I need to test different power extension socket and plug it to a different socket. That miraculously fixed it... so I thought... Today, after 4 months I experienced another crash. Pc won't boot and I will have to "kickstart" it with old PSU again it seems. Should I call an electrician or where do you think the issue may be?
  6. So it is working now normally now but for how long... Could anyone explain me why I was able to start the pc with my old cx600w psu and not with my new tx750w? and now after I was able to power it up with old cx600 I am able to switch to tx750w and it works... somehow... I have absolutely no clue whats going on Is there a way to check current somehow,
  7. Another weird update, I used old PSU and it turned on... or rather it was able to power it for the first time and then I switched back to my new psu and it is working again, except power button only works for turning it on not off... I am so confused...
  8. I did the first time it happened, could not find anything and pc ran for like 5 days without an issue. So no permanent damage has occured. maybe faulty extension cord? or should I call an electrician?
  9. Ok an update, now I am really confused, borrowed 750W corsair tx 80 gold+ and it happened again, but now when i try to turn my pc back on, every time I click on power button I hear click noise and nothing will happen. Again my cpu and gpu temps were fine before, and rgb on mobo is still working. Also tried to unplug gpu before powering up pc, but it did not help.
  10. Yep, like I wrote GPU demanding. That's why my 590rx was malfunctioning I suppose, it's kinda power hungry, but like I said not really sure because I don't know a lot about PSU and if they work properly or not.

  12. Hey, so I have this issue. My PC occasionally turns off. Sometimes it's twice per day and other times I can use it for days without an issue. I had this "incident" few days ago when I tried to turn it back on instantly after a shutdown but it started to smell like burning rubber and smoke came out of the top of my pc. I also heard some weird cracking noises ( maybe something to do with currents and voltages?) , so I let it be for the rest of the day and literally disassembled everything the following day. Strangely enough I wasn't able to find any visible damage on anything. I suspected my PSU but I didn't see anything wrong, burnt or damaged when I disassembled it. So I tried to turn it back on and it worked. I checked temperatures just to be sure, but everything was normal so I'm a bit confused. One more thing that might be relevant to this. I had 590rx before but I had to RMA it twice because when I played games that were really gpu demanding, my pc just turned off for some reason. Could there be a connection? Maybe my psu is not able to provide enough wattage? Just guessing I have no knowledge about psu. The model I have is Corsair CX600W 80+ bronze.
  13. I know, but i don't live in the U.S so there might be a problem with availability and import fees making it a lot pricey
  14. Budget (including currency): 550€ ( ~650$ ) Country: Slovakia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming machine mainly. Hello! I'm badly in need of an upgrade because only after buying a new GPU ( GTX 1660 Super ) I realized just having good graphic card is not enough and according to CPU bottleneck website, mine is almost 70% and I can really feel those fps dips and stutters in all games now. I would love if you guys could help with my upcoming build and review the parts I chose to upgrade and possibly improve it. My current setup: Motherboard: H61M-P23 (B3) CPU: Intel i5 - 2500 RAM: HyperX 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL10 Fury Blue Series GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6G ( Already bought this one, upgraded from SAPPHIRE R9 280X DUAL-X OC ) CPU Cooler: Freezer 7 Pro ( It fits on 1155 socket and from what I read it should fit on 1200 too + it still works very well, my idle cpu temperature is around 32°C and never exceeded 70°C under heavy load ) SSD: ADATA Ultimate SU650 SSD 240 GB HDD: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache HDD 2: Western Digital 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache PSU: Corsair VS650, 650W 80+ PC Case: No idea what brand is my current one ( It's quite old ) and I'm trying to upgrade it as well. Parts I chose to upgrade: Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z490 UD - 145€ ( 170$ ) CPU: Intel Core i5-10600KF - 255€ ( ~300$ ) KF is almost 40€ cheaper where I live and from what I read they should be the same, so no point in integrated graphic. RAM: HyperX 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL16 FURY - 72€ ( ~85$ ) PC Case: MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 010M - 55€ ( ~65$ ) Total: 527€ ( ~624$ )
