  1. I've tried both sticks on their own in another computer and it booted no problem so Im eliminating the possibility of it being a dead stick.
  2. Im having a very similar issue, I have the same mother board and am using the same ram, I previously had 16gb of 3200mhz and just purchased 16gb more of 3200mhz and corsair vengeance LPX, but when I installed the 2 new sticks I didnt even get a post screen.
  3. Both sets are 3200mhz 8gb sticks, I did have a setting in the bios that just changed the boost clock from whatever they were to 3200mhz and I didnt reset it not sure if that would chjange anything though cause they are the same speed. Im not sure if its even a detection problem though cause I didnt even get a post, screen was just black and the led on my board was yellow
  4. My motherboard only has 4 ram slots and I was trying to use all 4 of them, I have not tried one stick at a time, I figured it would boot if just one of the sticks was dead, I took out the 2 new sticks and it booted up no problem
  5. Hello, I'm having an issue and am a little confused was hoping I could get some sort of guidance. I currently have an ASUS ROG B450-F Motherboard and I am running 2 sticks of 3200mhz cl16 white vengeance lpx ram, I wanted to upgrade to 32gb as I find myself nearly using all 16gb at times so I went and purchased the exact same ram but this this time I bought the black sticks and when I installed it my pc wouldn't boot. I referred to my mobo manual and it mentioned supporting up to 16gb of memory however the website states otherwise. Is there some sort of difference between the two that is causing them to be incompatible or is my mobo just budget. I've attached a screenshot of the manual I was referring too and a link to my motherboard. Thanks in advance! *My MOBO* https://rog.asus.com/ca-en/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b450-f-gaming-model/spec
  6. I have this exact PSU however my serial number falls just before the ones that are supposedly being recalled, I've never dealt with an RMA with Gigabyte and I have heard a few negative things. Does anyone have experience with them If I were to spend my time RMA would they just send me another PSU or would I get a refund, after this I don't quite feel comfortable with a Gigabye PSU and am considering purchasing a new one from a different brand to be on the safe side.
  7. I dont think I got beyond 10 gbs while under pretty heavy load so capacity doesn't seem to be an issue. Thanks for your help!
  8. Thanks for the input! Which games do you play that benefit from the single core if you dont mind me asking. Awesome news thanks!
  9. Like the Crucial Ballistix you have is advertised on newegg "for amd"
  10. Thanks! I know this isn't really the correct thread, but I'm currently running 2 sticks of 8GB 3200mhz corsair vengeance ram, with the extra dough Ill have should I consider getting some more ram? and if so is vengeance fine? I know that Ryzens use memory
  11. Thanks for the advice! I'm not sure if this changes anything but I forgot to mention I do play games in 2650x1440. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a EVGA 3070 XC3 earlier this year and am so far loving it!
  12. Thanks for letting me know about Userbenchmark lol! You all had the same impression about that site. If I wanted to compare components where would you all suggest I go.
  13. I've been playing lots of Tarkov, definitely going to play lots of New World when that launches, I often stream to my friends on discord, I also don't want to completely block my self out from streaming on twitch as I would like to dive into that eventually.
  14. Greetings I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, Im currently running a 2600 and was looking to upgrade to a 5600x or a 5800x using the website CPU.USERBENCHMARK I learned that the 5800x is only about 6% better so it doesn't seem like its worth the extra 150$ and I could put that towards a better cooler and still have some extra money in my pocket. Im basically just looking for an opinion from someone whos more knowledgeable than I at weather the 5800x is worth the extra dough. Thanks!
