  1. I'm having a problem where every time I bootup for a split second I see A0 post code then it goes to 81. I done a bit of research and I think it means HDD Rom Initialization. I am running a overclock on my 7800x 4.9ghz and ASUS x299 Deluxe board, its been fully stable no BSODs but when I reset my bios and disable overclock it goes to AA post code. I'm lead to believe that overclocking causes this problem? I cant find much information on it.
  2. I recently bought a i7-5930k off ebay a few weeks ago and it was tested in working condition. I've been trying to build this rig on a budget and finally managed to get a good deal on a x99 motherboard to pair with my CPU, Its was a ASUS x99-Deluxe motherboard in good condition but when I finally finish building the rig and started it up it turned on for a split second then turned off with no Q-Code. The Power/Reset button was still illuminated with a slight noise from the vrm section of the board. So I decided to look at the vrm mosfets and it turns out one of the mosfets was burnt and looks like it shorted out. This was damage already caused before I bought the motherboard so is there a chance my CPU survived? I heard this happens because some ASUS x99 boards have defects but this was already done with a previous CPU in the board.
