  1. Couple years, but hasn't been used in ages. Does have a fresh install of Windows
  2. Latley been having issues with my PC, basically the screen freezes and there's a buzzing sound though my headphones. Force restart required. Any help/advice would be appreciated Specs: GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650 with driver version 471.68 CPU: i5-6400 Motherboard + version: B150M-DH3 | Version: F24 11-04-2018 OS: Windows 10 Home Power Supply: Corsair CX600M Occurs when playing games. e.g. GTA V Have attached the CPU-Z Log & Screenshot. Please note, even though the screenshot shows the fan speed is at 0rpm, it is running GPU-Z Sensor Log.txt
  3. Open BlueScreenView - https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html and screenshot the results
  4. Can you show us what appears in BlueScreenView?
  5. Found a screw driver that worked and put the new drve in. Things are back to normal:) Thank you everyone for your help
  6. Good news and bad news: Good news - Clone appears to have been successful - took about 6 and a half hours! Bad news - went to put in the new drive but realised that it requires a screw driver to take it old drive out of the mounting kit which I don't have (at least not with me right this second). Fingers crossed i can find one! Will have a look tomorrow morning as it's late.
7. Network discovery enabled? File and printer sharing enabled? (Network and sharing center -> Advanced sharing options)
  8. Tried macrum on a different USB. Opened instantly. Cloning right now. Will do a reinstall when I can log in. Will report back in however long it takes. Probably 8-9 hours due to my usb 2.0 sata cable
  9. That would be my preferred way however I can't boot into Windows
  10. New drive arrived today. Using Rufus and I installed Macrium on it - went to boot up (used F12 to select the usb), received the spinny wheel followed by a black screen. Still at the black screen when opening macrium. Been 20min. Any suggestions?
  11. Good to know. Am I better off using x1 sata cable and creating bootable media or getting x2 sata cables and just using it on a working pc? Both sata cables will be usb 2.0. I would assume making a bootable media would be the best option. Haha yeah I will
  12. For the time being I think that's my best option but will mirgrate to an SSD soon. One more thing, have you (or anyone) had experience cloning drives with "Macrium Reflect"? I do have a working PC (not the fastest) which I could use that software to clone the drives - of course I would have to use x2 sata to usb cables to connect the HDDs. Or would be making bootable/rescue media using Macrium Reflect be a better option? (That would require only a single sata to usb) and simply just swap the drives Anyone had experience using it? Does it work with sata to usb cables?
  13. Figured. Will order a new drive asap. Why shouldn't I turn it on? I am guessing to prevent further damage? Thanks
