  1. So I have this laptop (Dell Vostro 3405) with a 1366x768 60hz screen and, I downloaded CRU(custom resolution utility), and added a custom refresh rate of 75hz. When I selected the new refresh rate it took like 1 second to load and its just working fine, no screen flickers, artifacts or anything happened, I touch the screen and it is as cold as it was before. So my question is, keeping in mind what I described, should it be fine to keep using this custom refresh rate? or even if everything seems fine I should go back to the base 60hz, thats my question, thank you in advance.
  2. Ah yeah I've updated to that one, doesn't change the interface. Thank you for your time
  3. So I have this Dell laptop (the Dell Vostro 3405) and the BIOS interface looks really outdated and probably is, it says it's the 'InsydeH20 setup utility'. Is there a way to change this for a more not so outdated looking interface that doesn't have so limited options like this one? even the 2011 Dell Precision m6600 laptop I had before had a less outdated looking BIOS than this one. I don't know if you can update the firmware or something somewhere to solve this, or if its just not possible, hope you guys can help me figure this out, thank you in advance. I post this in troubleshooting cuz I'm not sure if there is any more appropiate channel.
  4. Because supposedly Dell said installing a version that isn't the one they recommend could cause instability problems or something. My cpu is the ryzen 5 3450u, if I understand correctly to install adrenalin i would have to install the latest driver, but maybe I'm wrong idk
  5. I want to be able to adjust the contrast, saturation, etc of the whole system like you can do with the AMD Adrenalin Software but I can't do that as the driver from Dell for my APU doesn't come with it, so are there any replacements? any other programs that would let me adjust the contrast, saturation, and such of the screen? if you know of any would appreciate if you could let me know, thank you in advance.
  6. its because they don't provide help for operative systems that isn't the one that comes from fabric with the laptop it seems lol
  7. Dell told me that the warranty doesn't cover helping me if I don't have the fabric OS that is ubuntu linux, while I use windows 11 they can't help me lol
  8. I said I did a fresh reinstall so there are not 2 antivirus software running at the same moment
  9. I've ran the integrated dell troubleshooter tests that happen when the PC can't start correctly, those test memory and disk and reported no problem and I also ran the windows memory test and no problem from there as well, also crystal disk checked recently and seems alright, but i'll look those you mentioned up
  10. Hi, so I have this Dell Vostro 3405 laptop with Windows 11 (the laptop supports said OS). The laptop is like half a year old, and since maybe a couple months ago I've been dealing with this issue where the laptop suddenly dead locks (becomes completely unresponssive and I have to shut it down with power button). This mostly seems to happen with the laptop is idle (little to no CPU load) like when I'm just browsing an article or writing something. When I'm gaming or watching youtube this never happened. Hope you can help me figure out whats going on (as I said even after a clean reinstall this keeps happening) thats it, thank you in advance.
  11. As I said my phone has micro usb so it doesn't work. Thank you for trying to help.
  12. Again, it has no OS, no wifi, no bluetooth, doesn't work with my tv/monitor. Thank you for trying to help.
  13. Its just a normalass android 10 phone or something. And as I said the monitor is kinda old so it doesn't have an OS or anything, nor wifi, etc, so, whats DeX?
  14. Ah I don't believe I'll be able to get one of those, I'm from latin america south. Also, if I am, it seems they're pretty expensive (costing almost as much as a google tv chromecast or more)
