  1. I'm a big fan of duckys. They don't have a lot of true macro keys though.
  2. CrystalDiskInfo: HWInfo64 shows 1 of my 2 RAID drives. Nothing else: I bought them both at the same time though so that's good enough for me. Thanks guys!
  3. Hey, I've got 2 kingston SSD's of 128 GB each in my pc, configured in RAID 0 using the utility of my MOBO (Asrock Fatal1ty 990FX Pro) and have been using them quite heavily over the past few years. Which is why it's probably a good idea to go ahead and check for the health of those disks. But of course normal software doesn't work, because they're configured in RAID. Does anyone know what software I can use?

  5. going for the keyboard, because I'm working on a setup for my GF.
  6. SO is in high need of any computer, but a portable one, that would be one heck of a present
  7. Do you know any of these things that support 200+ mbit?
  8. Obvious but sadly impossible. I live in a fairly old home without structural ethernet connections, so seeing as I did not have any proper equipment on hand, I cannibalised a 30m network cable, cut it in half in order to lead it through a hole in the stairs and solder it all back together. (after of course taping it off with electrical tape and using shrink tube for protection) Really making a new cable would be expensive as I don't have the tools. Sorry, I was unclear on that. All other PC's and network connections work without problems and we've since had a router change. Did try the different ports, but the cable is complicated (explained above)
  9. Hey guys, I've had a problem with my internet connection for quite the while now. Namely, every now and again (seemingly random intervals) my pc will go in to a sort of hulk like rage and just keep kicking out the internet connection. Now this might sound odd so let me explain: I first came across the problem about a year ago, when sitting behind my pc I lost internet, replugged the ethernet cable but found that the connection had a constant "Cable connected -> cable unplugged -> cable connected -> ..." loop which did not allow me to use the internet. After an hour or two and attempting a wide scale of things to fix the issue, I was able to get my pc back online. Now in the 2 days to a week after that, I found myself often struggeling with the exact same problem. Since then: it's happened numerous times, usually with 1 or more weeks in between sessions that last for a few days. I've tried to completely re-install my OS with no avail and plenty of other stuff, most of which I can't recall. Seeing as it is clearly not a problem with the router and happens on both ethernet ports on my motherboard I am now at a point where it is quite plainly out of my depth and was wondering if any of you might be able to help. Thanks in advance!
  10. Turns out I was a retard. The right driver is SATA floppy image one. (I guess branding a RAID driver with RAID would be too obvious cuz fuck logic) Thanks anyway!
  11. Hey everyone; I'm trying to re-install a fresh version of windows, but considering that I've got 2 SSD's set up in RAID 0 I need some drivers in my installation. Now I'm using the Asrock 990FX pro motherboard and am downloading the drivers from here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20990FX%20Professional/?cat=Download&os=Win7 For some reason however, when trying to use them in my windows installation none of the downloaded drivers is applicable with the hardware I've got. Does anyone here know anything I could try? Thanks in advance
  12. How I didn't think of that... Thanks mate!
  13. Did it, but the current settings are the best ones.

  15. Hey guys, Since yesterday evening (using the same monitor as before) my colors are all messed up. Currently they look as follows: http://puu.sh/bSpfP/f36bef4d7f.jpg And I was wondering how I could change them back; rebooting didn't work and neither did windows color calibration or switching themes.
