    Performance will probably be about the same. Silicon lottery will affect that more. The 100mm fan version will be quieter though, at the same temps. Most likely...
     
    You have to decide if being able to run quieter is worth the cost difference.

    Yup, 3300X is a great gaming CPU. 3700(X) would be much better for rendering imo.
