Yes.  I like to leave about 20-50GB free on my boot SSD drive, because for anyone who has needed to reinstall Windows over an existing install, you'll appreciate the fact that all your files from the old installation goes into a Windows.old folder, and if you don't have the space for it...then you lose data.  I like big boot drives as a precaution.  However, 256 is big eenough if you don't save a lot of crap on it.

if your only downloading apex, that will be fine. even if you download more, you can run them off the hdd, or setup your 240gb ssd as a cache.

Im booting off a 240GB SATA SSD for the time being, as i dont need the extra storage. However, i can tell you that I have 50GB left on the drive, with nothing but Windows and my apps installed.

I wouldnt go smaller, but 240 is enough so long as you dont intend on loading all your games on your boot drive.

That Fractal Meshify C actually looks pretty cool, I might go with that one instead! Thanks!

I wouldn't suggest getting the 100$ windows license, you're better off getting a 5$ license key and download Windows 10 from microsofts website. And with the 95$ you could get a ryzen 5 3600 for an extra 60$ which is far better for gaming and perhaps with the rest of money perhaps get a bigger SSD so you can fit a couple of games you play most often.
