Thinking of trying this mod on my 3070. :) Did you ever put together a guide? Would GDDR6X be possible, or would it require regular GDDR6?
-
If you can go a bit more on the budget, you could get a 144hz ASUS. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B2HH7G0/?tag=pcpapi-20 Edit: Didn't see the second monitor, this one is cheaper. Do you want a bit better resolution or much smoother gameplay? If you play anything fast paced like shooters I'd pick the 1080p 144hz, if you mostly play things like RTS or RPGs I'd chose the 1440p 60hz monitor.
-
Have you considered 1440p 21:9? There's a few 100hz versions. Good middle ground between 1440p 144hz and 4k 60hz imo.

Pretty soon, all gpus will look like the Sapphire Fury Nitro design.

Does my build look sufficient for 4k gaming?

The Noctua should be fine, it's almost as good as a 280 AIO, better than a few 240 rads. But, I wouldn't worry about an AIO leaking. I've had my PC in my 18-Wheeler for just over a year and it hasn't developed a leak. -
So far not a lot of issues with the system. I removed the mattress in the top bunk and have the PC strapped up there. The only two issues I've had, are that two of the side panels I've had to remove because the vibrations stripped the thumb screws, and I've just received a new motherboard as the vibrations broke the traces on the seconds PCIE slot, so I've been running on just one graphics card the past couple months. I ordered an ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 1 motherboard, which has reinforced pcie slots as well as a backplate, hopefully keeping that issue from coming up again. Surprisingly, my AiO hasn't had any issues, I figured if anything would go that would be the first. I would recommend you make sure to get a UPS and make sure your power inverter is Pure Sine NOT Modified Sine.

Thanks for the recommendation bud, it's on the way

Hey guys, I'm about to hook up my PC in my new truck (18 wheeler) but it has a quirk that will require a UPS to fix. Basically, I have a feature called "Opti-Idle" which turns my truck on/off based on the temperature I have set in the thermostat. The problem I have is that the voltage drops enough during each start up to send my power inverter into low voltage protect for a few seconds, which cuts the power to the connected devices. I need a UPS powerful enough to handle my rig for 2-10 seconds while the power inverter is in LVP mode. Rig is in my signature, budget isnt much of a concern I just need the cheapest trustworthy option to fit my use case.

The isidewith graph seems skewed to favor American Libertarians, in that collectivism (extreme left) is another form of authoritarian.

The LP should be placed further right than the Republicans. Remember: Coporate subsidies are anti free market, and thus should place a party with them further "left" (and also authoritarian) Republican (and Democrat, but we'll leave them out for now) politicians have acted in favor of a lot corporatist policies for a while now. Subsidies and Regulations (especially those that act to limit competition) are anti free market which is anti right axis. The LP favors deregulation of the market, as well as an end to corporate subsidies. Edit: The isidewith graph has different axises than the others, which would explain why the LP is technically further left on the graph.

You believe that the economy should be totally or almost totally centrally planned by a group of elected individuals? You are within a few blocks of where I'd put Sanders. You're probably either a Social Democrat (Sanders) or a left leaning Liberal.

I think the test could be improved, and the image I found isn't something that you should take totally literally. You may fall in An-Soc but find you disagree wholeheartedly with a fundamental belief of theirs, and find that Dem-Soc or Lib-Soc is more your view for example. I also don't think this test addresses enough areas.
