  1. I have a high end PC running a 6900XT, Ryzen 9 5900X and 64gb of ram, playing on a 165hz 1440p display. I can NOT get RL to stop dropping frames or smooth out the frame timing. I've reinstalled the game, swapped back to the steam version, dropped all my settings to low, enabled/disabled v-sync, enabled/disabled AMD free sync. I've enabled FPS limiters and disabled it. I feel like I've tried EVERYTHING but I can't get the game to smooth out. Any help would be awesome.
  2. Hello everyone, last time i needed help you guys had all the answers i needed, so here's to round 2. I am using a dual monitor set-up, one Acer XZ322Q at 60 Hz, and an MSI MPS323CQR at 165 Hz.(both connected using Display Port) My hardware is: Ryzen 9 5900X MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk 64Gb of 3400Mz System memory AMD 6900XT So the issue I'm having is with the Opera GX browser, when i launch it and drag it onto the second display(the Acer XZ322Q) the edges of it immediately tear and pixelate. When I launch a YT vid it repeats the tearing every time my mouse highlights something on my primary monitor (the MSI MAG). I ran into this issue yesterday and upon doing some research I see that its more common with Nvidia GPU's, and I didn't see anything related to this issue on AMD GPU's. Shortly after I saw that i needed to update my graphics drivers and figured that could be what was causing it, and after updating and restarting my PC it did. However this morning the issue started up again and now I'm at a loss of what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! ps. I tried to record the screen to show but couldn't get Adrenaline to record the second monitor without corrupting the file......
  3. The only time I've linked it to a freeze/crash is yesterday, but no it isn't making the disconnect noise.
  4. After yesterday it now is just saying random disks are unexpectedly removed, 4,5,7,6,9. I have no idea what Windows is doing
  5. RAM went through all 4 passes with no Errors, checked event viewer and now it says disk 6 was unexpectedly removed? No longer disk 5.
  6. Thanks for your help thus far, heres an interesting point, when i plugged in the USB drive it being recognized as disk 5, strange.
  7. I do have XMP active and i have overclocked my CPU, managed to push it about 17% over frequency spec and about 10% over wattage spec.
  8. I don't see any PC component that i could've bought that would fit the description around that time either............
  9. Nope, nothing with available storage, or anything that could be recognized as an available disk, im going through my purchase history now focusing around August in regards to PC components that i could've bought and plugged in, whether plugged in by UBS or not.
  10. Any usb device? Yes Keybaord, mouse and Mic, the only other thing would be the cable i use for connecting my controller but it doesn't have anything plugged into it.
  11. Interestingly enough where it says Disk 2 had no free space it actually has 34gb free space.
  12. So i looked through each drive properties and i only see disk 0, 1, and 2. Nothing else, no 3, 4, or 5. I do see the virtual storage made by the Microsoft Gaming Filesystem Driver, but they have no events attached to them or a disk number attached to them. I am at a loss currently. Edit: Disk not Drive
  13. I looked through them and see a few errors related to OVR service, related to Oculus quest software, as well as EA's launcher timing out and closing. None related to disk errors, just the warnings that say Disk 5 was unexpectedly removed. Edit: spelling
  14. I am running the following X570-A PRO (MS-7C37) AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Red Devil 6900XT OLOy 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Toshiba X300 5 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive M.2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus 256Gig SATA SSD Samsung 870 Evo only things connected VIA USB are Razer Blackwidow Elite, Razer Viper Ultimate Wireless and my Blue Snowball Mic
  15. So recently I've noticed that my Computer randomly runs into hard stops and freezes, at first i assumed it was a driver issue and reinstalled all my drivers about a week ago, but this didn't seem to have an effect on the issue. Today i was watching the RL 351 stream and getting some work done at the same time when the stream stopped and the window went black, I'm using Opera GX, so i tried to just close it and reopen it but upon closing the window and attempting to reopen Opera, nothing happened, the load symbol popped up next to my mouse but the window never reopened. So i opened task manager and force closed all instances of Opera, after closing the last instance my whole PC froze, no big bad blue screen, i could still control my mouse but couldn't interact with anything. When I attempted to CTRL+ALT+DEL the screen flashed but it never changed to the ctrl alt del screen. So i restarted my PC using the restart button on the case. Once the PC restarted i opened event viewer and this event was all over the place, when i investigated the error had been occurring since 8/25/2021 and in the details of the error it said that disk 5 was unexpectedly removed. The weird part is that I don't have a disk 5 anywhere in the system, I searched in msinfo and nothing labeled Disk 5 showed. My question really boils down to, Is this something i should be concerned about? Also, why is Disk 5 in the error but i cant find it anywhere else? And if i should be concerned what is the fix? Thanks to anyone who helps in advance!
  16. I have the AMD Radeon Software and ofc there's no way to preform a clean reinstall like on GeForce Experience. So I went to device manager and Uninstalled the GPU and drivers, I then reinstalled the Adrenaline software and updated the drivers. But you could be right it could very well just be a BF doing what it does best, BUG OUT.
  17. I've been trying for about 2 weeks to get BF 2042 to launch and run without crashing with minimal success, I keep getting the same error, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG, and the game crashes every single time I launch it. I've tried everything I can find and the issue still persists, updating drivers, reinstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, undervolting my GPU, disabling overlays, forcing directX 12, I have tried EVERYTHING. Any other suggestions that could possibly solve my issue would be amazing, thanks to all who help in advance. Ryzen 7 3700x AMD Radeon 6900xt 32gig 3200 RAM
  18. Still haven't found a solution, if anyone has a suggestion that would be awesome.
  19. 2080 super along with a Ryzen 7 3700x and 32gb of ram
  20. So I've played warzone since it's release and of course had issues here and there and managed to solve most of them. There is one however that has proceeded to bug the hell out of me since MW season 2. I play a couple games even up to 8 or 10 or more and it's fine having no performance issues until I load into the next game and notice the yellow packet loss symbol. As soon as I drop into the game I have constant lag spikes and stutters when I do just about anything. If I ADS then release rmb it stutters, if I open the shop menus in game, it stutters, as soon as I get into combat it stutters and I can NOT find a fix for it, I've reinstalled drivers more times than I can count I've rolled back drivers. My vram usage is at 1/4 of the total avaliable and my temps stay lower than 70 c usually (unless I'm playing Valhiem but that's a whole separate issue). Any advice or possible fixes would be greatly appreciated and thank in advance to anyone with a solution.
  21. So I feel like I jist got my monitor when in reality I got it over a year ago, now as of last night the display is now broken, so the advice I need is simple, do I try and have it repaired or do I just replace it? Honestly this monitor is great and far more expensive than anything I could buy (I got it as a gift).
  22. I always check for new driver updates and never leave anything running in the background, and the total ram usage is steady around 40%.
  23. I am having strange stutters while playing Modern warfare. Cpu nor GPU are at 100% though i never have a smooth performance when playing this game, my specs are Ryzen 7 3700x with 32 gigs of ddr4 ram, and a 2080 super. I've tried a ton of different solutions turning down graphics to disabling specific settings and all sorts of things and i still keep getting constant and random stutters andy help would be awesome.
