    So I've noticed that you can get used 2tb SAS drives for around 25 freedom dollars on eBay. I get that these are probably retired 24/7 data center drives; I just want to use them as an intermediary storage on my seedbox. Would it be theoretically possible to get an old enterprise SAS card and have a sort of plug&play experience? I have no clue when it comes to enterprise gear, so any help would be very appreciated.

    The Noctua Chromax line is pretty good looking; although they are still bulky. Also, AIOs aren't bad, especially if you can afford one from a good company like Corsair

    Yea, 3rd gen ryzen likes fast RAM, I'd recommend it. I think the vengeance stuff at 3600mhz is ~80 freedom dollars here in the US, which should be doable if you go with the 3700x.

    Unless your gonna do something that really needs many cores (VMs, Blender, etc), you should probably go with the 3700x. You can use the money to get faster RAM, which would definitely improve performance by a good bit. Might even be able to squeeze in a 2080 with the extra money. The case should be fine; I've never had any complaints with any of their hardware.

    Go into the BIOS and enable XMP.

    Assuming that the AORUS mobo is B450, and has the latest bios, there shouldn't be any problems. You should check with the seller of the mobo to see if the board has been updated recently.
