  1. Yeah sadly the hd 58xs would end up costing more than 300$. Damn living in Europe sometimes is expensive, lol The fidelio 2xr really caught my eye, given that they aren't as analytical as the AKGs. I've read some more on them, and the X2s seem like a good balanced options. I tried my hardest to find something bad about the X2s but other than "they're not for studio users" I couldn't find anything. Thank you very much for your advice
  2. I listen to a lot of indie music, mainly artists like lemon demon or The Orion Experience
  3. Oh yeah I was looking at the AKG K702s too. But I also read comments saying that they are really fragile and will break after one year of use. I don't want to find myself in the same situation I found myself in with the Virtuoso, durability wise. Is it true that their build quality is awful?
  4. Hello everyone, After a really bad experience with the corsair virtuoso (If any of you are searching through the forums like I were a year ago: Don't buy them, they will break and Corsair will not cover that under the 2 year warranty) I wanted to try some openback headphones to enjoy the "superior soundstage" people talk about. So I wanted to ask, What are the best openback headphones that do not need an amp for regular listening to music? My budget is flexible but if it was under 200 euros it would be wonderful. Thanks!
  5. thank you so much. You've been beyond helpful. Thank you so much.
  6. oh, i see now. I will upgrade to one of your DAC/amps later on but i think that they won't fit in my 200 euro budget. So to get things straight, will i be able to just plug in my mobo the headphones with the adapter that has come in the box and call it a day?
  7. Also, what about the jack? I saw some massive jacks which i guess are meant to be put inside of DACs. Does the DT 770 pro have the same kind of jack or is it just an adapter the one that is included in the box?
  8. Oh i get it now. Thank you for helping me out.
  9. Another question, is a DAC really necessary or can i roll with my mobo audio inputs? (my motherboard is a MSI Gaming Plus Max)
  10. Thank you man, I know this might seem like a stupid question to you, but is the audio quality much better than a headset like the corsair virtuoso?
  11. Not really, I just thought that it was the best option for convenience sake. I haven't really a specific reason to want a headset other than a dedicated mic and headphones except for believing it's more convenient
  12. Never really understood what "audiophile" classifies as. Sorry if i have used the wrong word. Anyways my budget is around 200EUR, which are ~224$ US
  13. Hello everyone, I was looking to buy a gaming headset. For what i've seen until now the Corsair Virtuoso RGB (non-se) are a good choice. What are the best gaming headphones that also have a good quality microphone? I am new to the audiophile world, so i don't really know where to start. Thanks in advance.
  14. if you mean the company that made the old monitor, it has closed 3 years ago. I was requesting tips on new monitors
  15. Hello guys, I built my first rig yesterday, and much to my dismay I have found out that the display i was planning on using was actually broken. I'm looking for a temporary solution, which will last for about 6 months, to still somewhat enjoy what my computer has to offer. I was planning on buying the MSI Optix MAG241C. Is it a good pick? do you have any suggestion for monitors who don't break the bank? (I watched the Video on LTT, and both the AOC CQ27G1 and AOC CQ27G2 aren't available in my region). Here's my specs list: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB AORUS Video Card Case: Corsair 275R Airflow ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair RM (2019) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
