  1. Intel HD4000 -> RX480 or such ??? ... man i would get to build a new rig finally !
  2. another wasted chance of winning ... or maybe not
  3. Now i dont understand you. It is subjective but i cant say one picture is less than other imo ??? What is the whole point of rating these photos if we cant say one is better than the other ? Say what you want, it is your opinion. If you think it looks like stock photo, so be it ! It sure doesnt look like to me and i dont think it does to others and they are welcome to say their opinions. I have explained to you what i think is the difference between snapshot and photograph. Jared might have different definition of that, i just used the therm he uses. If i think it looks like snapshot to me and said my reasons why would it be falsely accousing someone ?? It is my opinion on it and it is the whole point of this thread RATE the photo .... So far only one killing friendliness is you. I dont force my opinion to anyone, i just said it. You are the one forcing your mind to others. Sory for spamming everyone, had to get it out there. MODS you are welcome to clean/delete unrelated post as you see fit
  4. it is straight ... look at the far middle hills. it seems it isnt straight, i know , it is corrected in post processing and the buildings showed me what is straight .... bear in mind it is around 180° +-15° so it is distortion not a bad horizon yes, i took that one out , but it isnt always like that in my mind : this is a snapshot this is a photograph better quality, angle, aperture, focal lenght .... i perceive it as it isnt JUST about photo story but it is about what is happening on the photo being it movement, excitement, emotions, something AND about how you shoot it
  5. 3/10 1. not sharp enough for me - either from cropping or shutter speed or lens - would be nice to have some metadata info 2. the photo doesnt do it for me - as a Jared Polin (youtuber) says - it is a snapshot not a photograph city i live in it is panorama - 4 or 5 photos stitched Canon 50D Tokina 12-24 F4 F/4,5 1/1600s ISO 100
  6. 4k video or selective focus .... gonna go with selective focus seems like a pretty good feature

  10. Lenovo Thinkpad L440 vs Dell Vostro 5470 vs something good that you guys might suggest i am considering these two laptops for my gf for uni which she will be attending from home it has to have a reliable reputation such as lenovo thinkpad has even thou it is an entry level L (dont really know vostro line from dell) performance wise really doesnt matter but at least it shoud holdup for 5 years and she isnt much of a gamer (not at all really ) so graphics performance is irrelevant and she has my old gaming pc at home she will be mostly using it for web and writing essays - which doesnt sound intensive but once she is going something like 15 chrome tabs and 3 pdfs and 3 word documents are normal specs should be something like this, but i am open to suggestions with good reasoning dvd drive is not needed at all size should be between 13,3 and 14 inch should be light since she has to carry it in bag for whole day sometimes great battery life is essential for sometimes she has lessons from 10 am to 3 pm screen resolution is just a bonus for price has a higher priority for cpu i am considering i3 or i5 if it is in a price range - dont know about lower grade and if ti will be powerfull enough price is best around 600€ with 700€ being too much my location is Slovakia, Europe and it is from www.alzashop.com hence i came up with these two laptops and i am struggling which one to choose so i am asking you guys for advice and is there big performance difference with low voltage mobile cpus vs normal mobile cpus ?? Lenovo Thinkpad L440 + removable battery + trackpoint (red dot) + vga + display port + 4 usb ports + 2 memory slots - 1366*768 - 2,2kg Dell Vostro 5470 + i5 + gt 740m + 1,6kg + thinner - 1366*768 - 1 memory slot (need to change and not only add) - only hdmi - non removable battery - low volage cpu thanks for your answers
  11. With your current gpu i wouldnt recommend it for gaming even a 970 wont be enough for triple fullhd.... for this 2x980 would be ideal that is for gaming ofc. but if you dont game too much and mainly work and need 3 monitors for it it is ok even with 760 regarding cables since both gpus have same outputs use dvi to hdmi or display port to dvi and 2xdvi to dvi cables (hp monitors have dvi port only) since all 3 types carry same type of signal and are interchangeable it doesnt matter where is which monitor plugged in - you can set it whatever you like
  12. you have to also consider the whole build. that is case, design, cooling solutions as heatsinks maybe even water cooling, fans, custom cables, etc. etc. there is much more to prebuild computer mainly by alienware then just components that make performance difference you have to consider also that these guys dont just build the pc and sell it, they propably test at least each few of one model on stability and temps. and add in for a design and special components
  13. what is your PSU ?? what full specs are you running ?(all hdds, mechanical drives, led fans...) wattage, manufacturer etc...
  14. i think that with a stock cooler there is no logical reason to oc cpu not even a igpu since igpu clock is jumping anywhere between 350 and 1250Mhz and by overclocking it you just make a higher upper threshold but not necessarily guarantee it to run faster due to thermal throttling you will gain much more by oc your ram than your igpu(or changing it for a higher clock one)
