  1. It's a consistent flickering. As in, it's not constant but it keeps happening. Why I mean by the primary/secondary thing is that it's not the monitor that's the issue it's the picture being output to the monitor that is messed up.
  2. My friend has this on his monitor. It flickers for a few seconds like this and then goes away. It happens on his main monitor and when he makes his secondary monitor his main, it happens on that one instead. Anyone have experience with this issue? Any way to fix it? He says his drivers are updated.
  3. It's a great headset but it hurts my head. The headset is wireless thus it is really heavy and the headband cushion is pretty dang pathetic. After 1-2 hours of use the plastic underneath the cushion start to press down on my scalp, causing pain and redness. I've been wearing a hat underneath the headset as some sort of extra cushion but it just isn't enough. Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?
  4. Very cool phone. I am a huge fan of the metal chassis and weight that makes it feel valuable. Another thing I always like to see is more battery life. My S3 never seems to last long enough. One thing I don't like though is the onscreen buttons and yeah like you said in the video, wireless charging is a big no no.
  5. Not quite my preference but if it's the best there is I might go for it. I am currently thinking about the Silverstone FT03-Mini in which a Titan/780 will fit with a little case cutting;
  6. Just got myself a stable income and am thinking about upgrading power and downscaling the size of my current PC. I am looking to replicate the GTX Titan Cubitek Mini Cube build Linus did in the video linked below. The only differences being that I will be using a GTX 780 instead of a GTX Titan, I will try to water cool it with something like a Corsair Hydro H60, and I cannot find the correct Cubitek Minicube case so I will try to settle for something else, hopefully y'all can help with that. Here's the build log I've got planned so far; Case: Undecided -$? CPU: I7-3770K -$320 Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe LGA 1155 -$190 GPU: GTX 780 -$660 Cooling: Corsair Hydro H60 -$70 PSU: OCZ ZT 750W (Pre-owned) -$0 RAM: Ripjaw 8GB (Pre-owned) -$0 HDD: WD 500GB (Pre-owned) -$0 SSD: Intel 120GB (Pre-owned) -$0 Total Cost: ~$1300 + Case Cost I already own all peripherals and some of the components so all I need is what is listed with a cost. Feel free to provide suggestions and feedback. Especially on a good mini ITX case.that will fit the 10.8" GTX 780. EDIT: Also might just downgrade to an I5 3570K. Not so sure the 3770K is worth the extra $100.
  7. I'm taking a speech class right now and I'm planning an informative speech on the basics to building a computer. I would like some input on how to format it so the audience understands it and isn't bored to death. My speech professor is a middle aged woman that can't find the volume settings on a Youtube video and she told me that nobody would be interested in it, based solely on her own lack of experience with technology. I was told by classmates that it would be an interesting subject so I'm pursuing it anyway. Anyhow, here's the format, help me with content ideas that will make the speech stand out. There's an introduction and conclusion, 3 points with supporting subpoints, and transitions in between. I am mainly looking for main points and other creative ideas. - Introduction Transition - First Point - 1a - 1b - 1c etc. Transition - 2nd Point - 2a - 2b etc. Transition - 3rd Point - 3a - 3b - 3c - 3d etc. Transition - Conclusion Transition Conclusion
  8. I was wondering if my ISP can see my activity when Hotspot Shield is on? Can they see downloads through HSS? This is purely out of curiosity as I've used Hotspot Shield for years as a proxy for games like minecraft and WoW but I read it's a VPN and I was wondering what makes a VPN so special?
  9. I wouldn't call this proof but it's definitely a lead. I suggest next livestream we continue to ask Linus via twitter if he lifts.
  10. Hey I'm looking to connect by PC to my TV so I can watch Netflix on my TV. Essentially I just want to use the TV as a giant monitor. The TV has two HDMI ports and USB port while the PC (laptop) only has USB ports and a VGA port. I have a two-way USB cable but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there any way to get the TV to register the USB cable to output picture onto the TV? If not should I get a USB to HDMI adapter or a VGA to HDMI adapter or perhaps something else? Is a TV tuner mandatory just to get picture?
