  1. The Puget tests are definitely what I needed. Thanks a lot man.
  2. Really helpful. Will most definitely look into that. Saw Linus' video about it, too.
  3. Hey guys, I wanted to get your input on the build I have planned out for my company's main video workstation. If you notice any strange shortcomings/problems in the pcpartpicker list, please do me a favor and provide some feedback. I have a few questions in mind: - Does Adobe Premiere Pro (my main editing suite atm) still prefer higher clock speed over more CPU cores? - Should I opt for DDR5-6000 (192GB) or DDR5-8000 (96GB) options? - I need max transfer speeds for the usb ports at the front of the case. Do you have any case recommendations? I am no specialist when it comes to PC Builds, although I know some bits here and there. Really appreciate your guys' input :-) 1. Budget & Location I am from germany and planning to buy from mindfactory, since it's a german company as well. I am open for buying suggestions tho. 2. Aim Heavy Video editing workflows (8k R3D files, 8k ProRes 422 files, stereoscopic editing, 360 stitching, Colour Grading and editing in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve and occasional Mocha Pro tracking, h265 decoding) 3D-animation in Blender and (occasionally) SideFX Houdini 3. Monitors Currently 2 monitors @4k60 each. Not planning to have higher Hertz numbers, since color accuracy is important for me. Might add a third display @4k60 4. Peripherals Im good for peripherals atm. 5. Why are you upgrading? Really hitting rock bottom with my 64GB Ram RTX2060 AMD Ryzen 9 3950x rn. Premiere pro can't play back at full res without stutter etc. Budget (including currency): Since it's a business spending, I'm pretty chill there. Shouldnt be above 6000€ tho. Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: See AIM section PCPartPicker List I thought was good: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/49h4BL
  4. Since I use the Adobe Suite, the GPU will be used rarely when using generative VFX or lumetri color adjustments. I decided I’ll rather stick to the better cpu for now. I mean, I can always just throw a Quadro etc. in there if needed.
  5. Thanks for the quick response, will think about that for sure!
  6. I tried several times after replacing the battery. I’ll try to short-circuit my cmos reset pins tomorrow and let you know how it went. I forgot to mention I tried starting my pc up bare bones with everything disconnected, which didn’t work too. thanks for the quick response anyways!

  8. Hey guys, I‘m new to this Forum and desperately need your help. Yesterday, I connected a new HDD to my computer. When I reconnected the cable of my PSU and tried to boot my computer, it didn‘t Turn on whatsoever. Only my keyboard and mouse have blinking LEDs as long as the PC is connected to an Outlet. My First thought was to take out the HDD I had just installed, which wasn‘t fixing the error. I‘ve also tried other troubleshooting steps like waiting 2 hours with the PSU Switch set to off and Power disconnected, replacing my MoBo cr2032 battery, trying to Remove all drives and even swapping out my graphics Card. I‘ve also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the 24pin MB connector and swapping RAM sticks. All of the steps above didn‘t help. Since I am a photographer and videographer, i Need a PC to edit and earn money. Do you guys think my Motherboard/PSU is Fried? My System has Been running Just Fine for about 8 years now. Thanks for helping a PC Noob out.
