  1. Into the 300's for team rank. It is taking longer and longer to claw my way up. LOL
  2. Just to confirm that you are talking about the Z390 Aorus Pro. If so I have the non-WiFi version and have been using it for over a month now. I have a i9-9900K installed with Corsair memory. I am running the 9900k at 5ghz and the memory at 3200 using XMP. I guess you could say I am pushing things a little. Most important is the system has been rock stable and has enough adjustability to keep me happy. Well, maybe enough to get me in trouble too. LOL. I am no big hardware hacker or overclocker but I would say it is one of the better boards I have owned over the years. I don't know if that is the kind of info your looking for but I hope it helps. Good luck.
  3. I have both the Harpoon and the Ironclaw. I retired the Harpoon from use as it was just a little small to fit comfortably in my hand. Not that the Ironclaw is huge but it has a much more natural fit in my hand. The Harpoon felt like I had to keep a tighter grip on it to move it around. The Ironclaw just seems to track right along with my hand. My hand feels relaxed on the Ironclaw. Not a very objective response but I hope it helps.
  4. I have no first hand experience with powerline adapters but several people I know have tried it and were far from pleased.
  5. Happy dance. Made it to below 600 for team rank today. Now let's see if I stay there. Seems like there are a number of new people streaming up the ranks.
  6. Something close to this happened to me. After two years of no problems my system seemed to have died. The display port monitor displayed the "No signal" message. Not thinking I hit the reset switch. The system seemed to reset and hang on boot. Long story short, after transplanting the M.2 boot SSD to another completely different system, I found out the system was really booting and after turning on the integrated GPU in BIOS I could bring up the system on HDMI but still nothing on the display port of the add in GPU card. I did have a second monitor and after playing with Windows and trying to set up the add in GPU card and the second monitor the display port suddenly started working again. I wish I really knew what fixed the issue as the problem followed the Windows installation and not the hardware. This is the best I can offer. I hope it helps in some way.
  7. No offense was taken. I knew where you were headed with your comment but the humor in the situation was too good to pass up. Us old timers keep some of the oldest references in circulation. Have a great day and keep safe.
  8. Now don't go playing some of those Jedi math tricks on me. A team rank of 924 means 924 to me. I can cipher...... (very old reference)
  9. Broke in to the top 900's for team rank. Never thought I would make it.
  10. I like the way the Corsair Ironclaw fits my hand and the buttons line up nicely under my fingers. Fit is always my number one concern. A $500 gaming mouse is worthless if it is not comfortable in your hand.
  11. Corsair Obsidian 500D case. Strix 2080Ti 11gb OC, i9 9900K, and Z390 Aorus Pro MB. 280mm AIO CPU cooler pushing air out the top of the case. Three 120mm fans at the front of the case pulling air in to the case. One 120mm fan at the back of the case pushing air out of the case. The 4 120mm fans have a custom curve from about 27c to max 100% at 75c The AIO cooing curve is the Corsair default. The GPU cooling curve is the Strix default. The power supply pulls air from inside the case and pushes it out the back. Have not looked at the wattage. The power supply will report it but the case blocks the OLED panel. When folding together the CPU runs at 60c +/- 3c and the GPU runs at 62c+/- 2c. Everything else on the MB runs 45c to 48c I hope you find this information useful.
