Thanks everyone for these recommendations especially @8tg, @PDifolco, and @IkeaGnome. I got lots to get started with plan that long awaited drive down to micro center!

This was really helpful!! Oh and I knew the case sucked, when I got it had horrible ventilation. I actually modded it and cut out an air intake on the bottom of the front plate for a 140 mm fan and attached some mesh for dust protection.

Kinda what the suggestion has been here, the modern equivalent to your current system, keeping the parts you can still use, case, psu, ram, cooler (though you’d need a new bracket for the u12s on new platforms but noctua provides them)

Basically just going to a 13600K and Z790 with a 4060ti and a new nvme ssd.
Or any GPU equivalent, mid tier cards in general, 4060, RX 6750xt, arc a770, etc
Your sata ssd becomes a secondary drive.
2133mhz ram will be a limiting factor but that can be changed out later.

I'd suggest this, kept what is still relevant from your build, your case isn't very good I would replace it

Honestly looking to buy used off of something like facebook marketplace might not be a bad play here, at least in my area quite a few folks dumping their rtx 30 series PCs for around that price point could possibly end up with more for your money, but the build above is great too would definitely reuse parts at 1k if buying new parts.

12400/13400 CPU + 7800XT based system would probably be fine.

I'd swap this for your CPU motherboard and ram.
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, MSI B650-P Pro WiFi, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Bundle - Micro Center
WD Black SN770 1TB SSD 112L TLC NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 4.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive - Micro Center
MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular Power Supply - ATX 3.0 Compatible - Micro Center
ASRock AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT Challenger Overclocked Dual Fan 12GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card - Micro Center

PCPP doesn't do a good job at seeing Microcenters bundles and deals.
