  1. Why do you need 64 gigs for minecraft and rocket league lol. Also, good luck finding a decent GPU in that budget right now
  2. Hi everyone, I own a Sceptre C24 https://www.amazon.com/Sceptre-Edge-Less-FreeSync-DisplayPort-C248B-144RN/dp/B07MTMCNLX/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=sceptre+c24&qid=1615704356&sr=8-2 and it one day out of the blue started going black some of the time and the screen would have grey flickering. It was ok at first, and I ignored it, but it seems to have gotten worse. I keep the monitor in very good condition, and I've owned it for about 8 months. The cable is in extremely good condition, but I can't test another cable or plug since I don't have an HDMI to Thunderbolt or another DP to Thunderbolt cable. My OS is Windows 1909 18363.1440 64 bit. I've troubleshooted at a basic level, but to no avail. Is my monitor fixable or is that all that money down the drain. (I am a minor so I can't really just pull out the money to buy another one). Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary, and it just randomly started doing that one morning. Help would be greatly appreciated as using my laptop monitor is less nice, and it also slows down my potato of a thermal throttling computer even more.
  3. Gets stupidly hot under normal use like being in a zoom meeting, annoying HP ads and software which isn't hard to remove, but is annoying, chassis is not that sturdy despite being metal, terrible speakers, touchscreen is very buggy, camera is terrible, thermal throttles way too much. Also has so many issues, I've had to hardwipe my computer multiple times, send it back to HP for a fan breaking because of cheapness in it, and just other minor annoying things. (this is a 2018 model that I own)
  4. I own a spectre x360 which I am pretty unsatifised with, so I would generally reccomend the XPS 13, but I've heard that new models are a lot better
  5. Purebase isn't a corsair product, so it will have no compatibility with iCue
  6. It would help to know what your board is
  7. I owned one, had several defects, returned it and just got another one that also had some issues with an extremely bad wireless adapter and some annoying settings that you always had to change to get proper sound, I personally wouldn't right now
  8. CL20 isnt bad, but id go with the CL16 personally since you can OC a 3200 stick to 3600 without too much issues generally, especially with a good reliable stick like corsair vengance
  9. You literally buy it, when you own it you dont have to download it
  10. Hey everyone, I recently got a pair of HyperX Cloud Flight(Wireless), and when I use them, the audio sounds very mushy and has no sort of sharpness, much less so than my previous very banged up Razer Kraken X, and the audio also has decently annoying static in everything. It's kind of annoying, but I'm not sure whats causing it, and I dont have a way to test it wired, as it has no compatibility for that. Any suggestions on what to do or what causes it would greatly be appreciated.
  11. Yes, but I would reccomend an entierly different setup. Something more along the lines of this would get you better performance, with a much better psu, since the one that you selected is notoriously bad. You could do with a 650w corsair, or a 550w and maybe get an RTX 2060 Super if you go slightly overbudget.
  12. I would try to repaste and clean out any dust, but I dont see any way to open it. Also, if this helps it idles at about 85 C, and I've already tried to remove any bloatware(which didn't do anything because I dont really have any), change power plan, but that didnt do anything.
  13. Hey everyone, I currently own a 2018 13 inch HP Spectre x360 that I've owned for about 8 months. I know that it's an ultraportable, so the cooling isn't the best, but I used to be able to get about 8 hours of intensive use before I risked it overheating, now it overheats on minecraft with its "recomended settings" in under 15 minutes. I installed throttlestop, and that prevented it from overheating past 90c and locking, but my performance is garbage even in things like chrome. What mystifies me is that it started suddenly, when I booted it on one day, and I don't remember changing any settings that may have affected this. Any help is greatly appreciated, as it's becoming a large annoyance with online school, as it overheats during zoom meetings.
  14. Maybe 16 gigabytes? Also its gonna be helpful to OC the memory to 3600 since youre using a Ryzen CPU, and if its just for gaming then a 3300X would make more sense, and with that money saved a larger SSD or maybe a better board like the tomahawk max
  15. Just practice jitterclicking or butterfly and its cheating technically. You can butterfly click really fast if you practice, I get 16 CPS if I really tryhard and I have a razer mamba wireless.
