  1. Unless you already bought the 9600KF or you found it on a big sale the 3600 is better value, and you dont need liquid cooling on a chip like that. The stock cooler is fine, and even then you can just buy a hyper 212 which is cheaper than an aio. The board is fine though. (if you do go 3600 the tomahawk max is great for the price)
  2. Trident Z RGB using sk chips and it works great, it is really good ram
  3. The 3300X is fine for gaming, but if you do video editing/multithreaded tasks then maybe the 1600AF, and a good board would be the tomahawk max. If you want a 6 core/ 12 thread processor that is better than the 1600AF, then like the other person suggested the 3600 is great.
  4. Not neccesairly if it just doesnt have enough wattage for the default settings
  5. If they do, it will be 5th gen or later, and b450 will support 4th gen, and the tomahawk max is only about 120 USD, so not that expensive
  6. If you get the tomahawk max instead which is still fine you can spend not that much more money on a 2080, if you want, or if you want a really good board the tuf gaming plus is great.
  7. If you havent already bought the card you can get better ones for the price.
  8. Thats unusual, I've seen benchmarks for the 1060 and the 5700xt and they both get at least 230 fps
  9. Yes. You should almost always get around 240 fps on low 1080p
  10. For that price you could get something like this PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor $289.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler NZXT Kraken X53 73.11 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $129.99 @ Best Buy Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard $189.99 @ Best Buy Memory G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $93.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $179.99 @ Amazon Storage Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $54.99 @ Adorama Video Card Asus GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB STRIX GAMING Advanced Video Card $784.99 @ Best Buy Case Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case $104.99 @ B&H Power Supply Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $99.99 @ Best Buy Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $1928.91 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-05-18 23:43 EDT-0400
  11. No problem, im kinda new too! What you suggested would be a great idea.
  12. This mobo is ok for the processor, but anything better than you should upgrade to something like a tomahawk max, which supports 3rd gen ryzen out of the box, in terms of cpu, for a budget the 3300x or the 1600af are fine, for a bit more, then the 3600, and after the the 3700x would be the next choice in terms of price.
