  1. well the 13900 is a hot running CPU but 85-90 seems like your cooling is not working as well as it should be. maybe reapply the thermal paste. as a suggestion.
  2. you have your answer now but jaystwocents made a video about adding an LCD screen to the case.
  3. i am guessing these are running 13th gen intel CPUs? i have heard the 13900k (i know, way over powered for a work PC) but they run hot and i am guessing its because they draw a lot of power so maybe these m.2 slots are failing from power draw limits exceeded..
  4. is there an error code for the fali? i mean like STOP CODE ____________. i ran into a storage device failure months ago and all i needed was a replacement.
  5. have a budget for this? a case that supports a 240mm rad on top with a 5.25" drive bay is going to kind of be a rare find with your other wants like solid side panel and good airflow. 4 options for this case so dont just look at the panel. Phanteks Innovative Computer Hardware Design
  6. personally i would spend the extra money on getting the one i want because if or when it fails, if you dont have it backed up, you will lose everything and both of these are kind of subpar to most others

    TV vs PC monitor

i am fucking done i am just done several people on here have pissed me off because they are too fucking stupid. how in the holy fucking hell does "the height of this 12" tall TV is 12" and this 24" tall TV is 24"" translate to "you are talking about aspect ratios" NO I AM NOT and i am fucking tired of being told that is what i mean when i have said several times no its not what i am talking about stop talking about it, why are you still talking about it over and over again. YES i know the aspect ratiro correspond to TV size in that a 13" TV from 20 years ago will not have the same aspect ratio or color qaulity as a mondern TV, that is not what this topic has been about and never has been. it was simply "can a PC monitor be used as a TV screen" and i have gotten severla answers of yes it can, so its been answered. i just said that that 42" ultra wide monitor was not as tall as a 42" TV screen so it would be harder to see from a distance and that is where you and the other person started talking about aspect ratios.

    TV vs PC monitor

no. what i have been saying is that if you put a TV like this next to a TV like this https://www.newegg.com/samsung-cu8000-43/p/1CS-001X-00018?recaptcha=pass then you will notice the physical size difference. even though these two tvs are 20 years apart the aspect ratios are the same.

    TV vs PC monitor

you too? does no one here speak or understand english? i am getting real tired of repeating myself from people who think i said something different when i didnt. what i said once again is talking about the PHYSICAL SIZE of the displays NOT the aspect ratios of them. yes i know you can change the aspect ratios on the screen to change the view of what you are seeing on it but that once again is no what i have been talking about. so can we please stop talking about aspect ratios as it literally has nothing to do with topic.

    TV vs PC monitor

this is what i have been saying and what i am complaining about is is that i have been saying this several times now but people here are acting like. "me: if you put 2 different sized monitors side by side you will see a difference in their physical size. people here: no, the aspect ratios are the same.". i can change the aspect ratios on my 42" TV right now to be a 4:3 if i wanted to. i do not care about the ratios because you can change them to what works best for you, their max is the max they can but you can change them. all i wanted to know from the start was can you use a PC monitor as a TV because i know it has higher refresh rates than most TVs so not only a better gaming experience but maybe TV too but this went in a whole different direction with trying to talk about aspect ratios. your main ones are 4:3 and 16:9 but with the new ultra wide monitors that is changing up things a little. i think i will just stick with a TV when i go to replace the one i have now.

    TV vs PC monitor

ok, i am done talking about this because everyone here seems to be stuck on "you are talking about aspect ratios" when i am not and i am getting fucking tired of being told what i am talking about when its you people who have it wrong. yes i am pissed because i dont know what could be simpler than "I AM TALKING ABOUT PHYSICAL SIZE OF THE MONITOR"

    LCD for AIO

yeah i looked into it more after my comment and they are different connectors. but these icue link LCDs will not ship out in Q3 since we are in it and almost to Q4. the Qs are Q1 Jan-Mar, Q2 Apr-June. Q3 July-Sept, and Q4 Oct-Dec.

    TV vs PC monitor

i am talking about similar size in that a 42" TV is about the same as a 42" PC monitor in that you read, measure or whatever you want to call it, the size of the display by measuring diagonally from the top left to bottom right or bottom left to top right. but the PC monitor measuring from bottom to top would be around 12" give or take and the TV would be 24" or more. that is all i am saying in similar size and looking different. not the aspect ratios because i know the PC monitors have different style screens like IPS LCDs and the TVs are LED, etc. etc.. of course the IPS displays are not the only ones for PCs, i was just making an example

    TV vs PC monitor

i didnt. i just used 2 similar sized devices to show that one was physically taller than the other. like how the PC monitor was typically around 12" tall and the TV was 24" or more and when placing them side by side you would see the difference.

    TV vs PC monitor

well it could be but probably because of a translation issue becuase i said several time "the PHYSICAL size of the TV and monitor. not the aspect ratio" so it wasnt on my end the confusion happened. i even said how the TV would be taller than the monitor and gave 2 similar sized devices that show this.

    TV vs PC monitor

i refuse to learn? i have said if you place a PC monitor side by side with a TV the TV will physically look bigger and the PC monitor will look wider. i have NOT been talking about the aspect ratios these. just the actual size. i know you can change the ratios in the settings of the devices and its mostly 4:3 or 16:9. again i have been talking about if you take a tape measure, ruler or something to measure the size of them, the PC monitor will just look wider because it will not be as tall as the TV. these last few comments you think i have trouble understanding is because you are the one who has the wrong idea of what i mean so dont act as if i refuse to learn when you are wrong.

    TV vs PC monitor

i am talking about aspect ratio but physical size. a computer monitor has a physical size of whatever like 32" diagonally but usually 12" tall. a TV of 32" is typically around 24" tall. so if you placed these two side by side it would look as if the PC monitor was wider than the TV.
  20. tdkid

    TV vs PC monitor

well like i said. a standard TV is going to be wide and tall. a PC monitor of the same "size" is mostly just wide or at least how it would appear to be. like if you placed them side by side it would be obvious which is which without guessing. right now i have kind of been looking intn the new LG LED evo models but i have no plans on getting this right now.
  21. tdkid

    TV vs PC monitor

i am talking about wide vs height or how tall. a 42" TV is also about 24-30" tall. 42" PC montior is about 12" tall. so the PC monitor is very wide.

    TV vs PC monitor

well TVs for the most part are limited to 60hz unless you are willing to pay good money for a 4k 120hz or 144hz which yes they are getting cheaper every day but they are still around $500-1000 for a TV that you can easily see the pic from 10ft away which is still not bad but you have limits on what you can do when you use it as your PC monitor and your TV. PC monitors as far as i can tell flip this to where you get better quality of the images, faster response times but the size is limited to roughly 27-32" with some being 42" but extremely wide so not a good pic for far distances. so far i have kind of looked into samsung and LG TVs for a replacement but only from best buy. any suggestions on a store that does shipping?
