Him being the head of Corsair PSU department doesn't make him have the right to deem my recommendation invalid without giving the recommendation himself. I have used this PSU for 3 years, this specific brand, on a similar specs pc, thus i have a right to recommend this PSU. Him coming into this thread invalidating my recommendation while not providing one himself is laughable, to say the least.

And who defined this tier list as facts? It is just as opinion based as my experience. Also you don't need an s or a or b whatever tier PSU to run that rig.

Boot Drive on SSD and the games on HDD is what I would do.

What does it matter? I didn't say to buy the cheapest PSU in the market lmao stop putting words in my mouth. OP wants a safe, usable bang for buck PSU that he can use, so i, based on my experience on using the product, recommended the PSU to him. The difference is that i speak from my 3 years experience of using this PSU with a PC that is similar to OP's while you're spewing bullshit based on spec sheets. Have a nice day.

You asked him to record his temperater IN GAME , which shows 90-98c. But then you said when he was playing his CPU never thermal throttled. Which one is it?

Bad stock cooler. The Wraith Spire is miles ahead compared to this Wraith Stealth. I upgraded my r5 1600 to 3600. The temps are horrendous, 83 degrees while playing The Witcher 3, switched back to Wraith Spire and my temps never goes past 72 degrees even on AC Odyssey, when sometimes the CPU usage reaches 100%. I should also mention that my ambient temp is 18-20° So i'll ditch that stock cooler and get a better aftermarket cooler.
-
I usually use CoreTemp. But if you want a real time measurements shown in your screen while playing games than you can download the MSI Afterburner app and RivaTuner Statistic Server app and go from there.

This should be the absolute standard on higher end motherboards. A physical bios reset button. How on earth no manufacturer manage to figure this out is beyond me.
-
Try resetting your Bios by removing the round battery on your motherboard, wait for 5 minutes and put it back again. That should work

The fact that it's the end of the am4 socket is exactly why i have a huge problem with this whole situation. At this point this is just an obvious cashgrab from AMD because people will still buy the Ryzen CPUs because they're so good. So for example, i buy the b550 or x570 mobo with the series 4000 CPU and when i want to upgrade, BOOM! I need to change mobo again because they would've switched to a different socket by then (they said AM4 would be supported until 2020).
-
Personally i'm disappointed. Upgradability is one of the biggest arguments against Intel. For the b350s and x370s sure maybe that's acceptable. But for those who bought b450s and x470s? That's basically a slap in the face. And their "not enough room for bios" excuses are bullshit, even some x370 motherboards have a 128mb bios chip. I hope that with enough backlash from the community, they'll seriously consider to reverse this decision.

About 5 to 10% faster than the GTX1060 in some titles and also at a much lower launch price . So i'd say that the 1650 super isn't disappointing at all. Though i would've liked if they ship this at 6gb vram, 4gb is gonna be obsolete in 2 years time max.

Nope, will do just fine.
