  2. if you need asus then do asus tuf x570, also ryzen is better. doesnt cost as much, better performance in everything but gaming and by better gaming performance i mean like 1-2 fps
  3. do not spend 5000 on a pc. wait for 4th gen ryzen, big navi, rtx 3000, etc. i put together a list to have until those come out and then you can add cpu gpu etc from there. motherboard might have to change because of either not compatible with cpu or out of stock. 5. def 3900x, if you have the extra 100 or so for it do 2070 super, otherwise do 5700 xt. i'd do 5700xt and probably use the rest to either keep or for 16 more gigs of ram but only if you plan to edit
  6. lol i dont like intel i was just saying they have a little bit better gaming performance so in final do ryzen op
  7. i said that ryzen would be better for that reason, then you said that they wouldnt use all the cores, so obviously the better option is the 8 core cpu for 440 instead of the 12 core for 420 or something like that. also about nvidia its 150 more for nvenc so like, whatever if he has enough money to pay for $150 encoding there you go
  8. have you forgotten about price, i9 9900k is last gen and is still more than r9 3900x. let alone a 10900k
  9. ram is slower, gpu i dont even know the difference besides the 30 dollars and an extra fan that you dont need, and ssd is unnecessary
  10. im saying intel is best for just gaming but for streaming and recording amd is better
  11. intel is for purely gaming pc, no recording or streaming. but since youre streaming id do ryzen not just for better performance but for 4 extra cores, ram is faster, better airflow case, saving a little on the psu with same wattage and also modular, and saving about 150 on gpu. 2070s is a little bit better than 5700 xt for streaming but i mean i wouldnt pay 150 for it, raw performance is pretty much equal just no raytracing. you could do the samsung ssd but i mean you most likely wouldnt need it. you could get a 1tb ssd for a little bit more than that. i'd do airflow but if you really wanna do watercooling then whatever. 12. i feel like raytracing doesnt matter especially considering its not like a 2080s its only a 2060s

  14. update, got an old thermaltake cooler from microcenter for like 15 bucks but it didnt fit. btw specs are i5 4590, stock cooler, 16gb ddr3 1600mhz, stock optiplex 9020 motherboard, stock 9020 case, xfx rx 570 xxx, 500w thermaltake white psu, 256gb sata ssd, 2tb sata hdd.
  15. i got an old optiplex and without the graphics card installed, it ran (one) game at around 90 fps on the graphics built into it, the cpu is an i5 4590 btw. after i put in an rx 570 when i run the same game or really anything but like a browser and discord, the cpu fan gets really fucking loud and like it legit smells hot. i can open the case and have a seperate fan blowing air into it, but i have cats and my pc is near the floor so overtime dust is a big problem. besides just replacing the cooler, how do i make it shut the fuck up without burning my cpu

  17. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SQBBMVK? if you're doing this just for video playback i'd add like an rx 560 for around 100 bucks, if you want gaming do 570 for 130-140 depending on the amount of vram. get a new psu as well since im not sure but the gpu would probably not be compatible with the stock one
  18. so like i mightve just thought it was my psu fan being loud but it really might have been the cpu cooler, since gta was taking up like 50% of it and when i closed it along with the launcher it got quiet again
  19. if by hard pressed you mean overclocked i havent changed anything about anything, everything is stock and i wasnt planning on messing with it
