Hi all. Im planning to make an upgrade to my PSU for an upgrade to the 980ti sometime soon. The PSU im using now is cutting out once every so often so im not using my PC to game for a while. The PSU i have now is this http://www.amazon.co.uk/sair-CX600-600W-Power-Supply/dp/B009D79Z9I/ref=sr_1_4?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1449396753&sr=1-4&keywords=corsair+600w+psu (Corsair CX600) Im looking to upgrade to the EVGA Super NOVA 850w psu. http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-Super-NOVA-Power-Supply/dp/B00J299ALA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449396410&sr=8-3&keywords=EVGA+G2+PSU My question is, will this have all the connections that I need for my build? Will it fit ok? Specs Zalman Z-11 Plus (ATX) GTX 780 I7 4790K 16GB RAM 3 120mm case fans Hyper 212 EVO Cpu fan An average DVD drive Will this all work out fine if I got this PSU? Thank you so much!

Hi all, I need to factory restore my windows 7. I have 1 worry that you maybe able to help me with. My motherboard is the Asus Z87-K, and I have a 4790k processor. This motherboard will only work with this processor via upodating it, will it delete this update if I factory restore windows? Because if so I need to swap out processors Thaanks!

Hi, all please, I know this is a lot to read but I need help. So I bought GTA V the other day hoping to just hop and and it all be fine and dandy and enjoy the week playing but, no this is not the case. When I launch the game it plays the intro and crashes. Every single time. It crashes at the exact point that it tries to sign me in ( when you watch the intro with the yellow and blue rockstar logo and it says you signed in in the top left). My theory is that something is blocking the connection and denying social club to sign me in at that point. Weird thing is when I check my firewalls everything related to GTAV Is allowed through. I even tried disabling windows defender and taking down the firewall completely but no luck. Here I have made a video showing what happens Another thing that was brought to my attention is the fact I got the game running ONCE after this prompt came up ( see pic below) and I clicked enable. This also worked when I downloaded the game on the laptop I have too. if any of you can help me I would be forever grateful. i feel like I have wasted £40 and rockstar support doesn't know the problem ( been on back and forth emails). If there was a way to trigger that prompt every time I launched the game i would like to know. Thank you ever so much for reading. And any help that comes my way.

I really need some help please -Updating BIOS
Tommaz replied to Tommaz's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Hey all! New CPU Is in and working, Updated like a charm! -
Hi all, I recently just bought a i7 4790k in replacement of the 4670K. This is on a Asus Z87-K Motherboard. I swapped CPU's only to realize that you needed to update the bios for this Devils canyon CPU To work on the board. I was mad and it was a stupid mistake. The problem I have is that I have no idea how to actually update the bios, I searched around and saw the flashing method, naturally I went to see Linus do it, he did, however when he flashed the BIOS and updated it he used a ROM File. The worry I have here is that when I went to download the latest version it was a CAP File. For reference I am currently on BIOS Version 0902. I have no idea what to do and now im waiting to see what I should do. Any help is really needed. Thanks

Hey all. i am very curious and need some help for a upgrade I think I may look into. Now I use my PC for Video editing on the majority and games on the side. My current CPU is the I5-4670k and im looking to upgrade to the 4790K. I looked into some of the things and was wondering what the performance difference would be for render times? I know it has a higher cache, same bandwidth but is much faster. It also has 8 cores as apposed to 4 on the 4670k. So what here matters for render times and would this be a decent upgrade? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is worded a bit funny, just looking for some help as all.

I would love to win this as it is the CPU I was going to use in my next build that I am saving for named "Project Phoenix! More Cores for video editing!
