im using samsung t190p(yes, its old) and lately it keep raising the brightness to 100%. if i lower it to anything else, it slowly raise it again.
i assumed the buttons might have some dust or other stuff in them that keep them pressed and by that raising the brightness, so i open the monitor and cleaned the button's board with contact spray (i let it dry of course).
it helped for like an hour but now im having troubles again.
i cannot afford buying a new monitor, and this one became very important since i have to study from home instead of university, and it would be a big problem continuing without it.
is there any way i can change the monitor's setting such as brightness using a software? if it possible maybe i can just disconnect the buttons' board cable so it will stop increasing the brightness, will it work?
of course a solution to solve the problem itself instead of going around will be very welcomed
im out of ideas and really need that to keep studying.. thank you!
