  1. I wonder if they updated the firmware, it changes how the ABL works for the uniform brightness.
  2. I might add some corsair rgb stripes, but it doesnt look so dim in real life It may seem so dim because its lit with uv leds, it actually glows The void will stay I like that clean look to the reservoirs!
  3. Follow Up: Pictures of my completed build: Update with final cables will follow some time in the future
  4. Hi there! The build was very straigt forward, no mayor problems just the cpu cooler intergration was a little finnicky (swapped it out last minute, Andy isnt the culprit ) Custom cables are missing due to covid19 :c
  5. IT'S ALIVE!!! Yes I finished it, Pictures and Build Log are coming soon! Here's a 3Dmark Timespy Extreme Score: Link to report
  6. Hey you should check out this one (Retrostone 2) aswell: https://www.8bcraft.com/ it doesn't have a switch layout but is built very well, also there's a pro version with a joystick.
  7. Sorry that it takes longer then anticipated, but corona delays my packets :c
  8. Build Update 1: Installed the pumps, and installed front and bottom radiators. today I will do the fan cabeling, backside hardtubing, Tomorrow top radiators and hopefully on friday the final assembly.
  9. Case arrived today! I will start soon with more updates
  10. You could try offset fittings from barrow or bitspower. Also the shorter bend for the bottom rad is quite bad, would definitley rebend. Also the GPU runs are not optimal, maybe a offset adapter can help here aswell.

    Custom Case, Caselabs Quality!

@MEC-777 nope, only goal was to get in as many radiators as possible. Vent design is derived from the spectre wraith, and is not final without dust filters, that's why it looks so open atm. Also aesthetics is a relative thing.
  12. Received a new CPU waterblock from EKWB a Magnitude AM4 Plexi + Nickel D-RGB! Also installed a black accent One good looking CPU block.... Update on the case: everything exept window is done, this is going to be cut tomorrow, and the case should be dispatched on monday, finally!
  13. he'd also need a new mainboard and ram though... Your PSU should be powerful enough, just check if it has enough pci-e cables.
  14. maybe it also has to do with eset aswell, do you already have tried to deinstall it?
  15. As I said, core count is as important as frequency and ipc, especially in the future of computing. Also to clarify, I'm talking about future (maybe next 2-3 years). Also the way computing evolves atm is to break down the big chunks into many small ones, to as you said, compute them in parallel. But to get to a point where software (not speciality software) catches up to the hardware atm produced will take a while. Maybe we'll even see the death of x86-64 and a rise of RISC.
  16. > core frequency and instructions per clock you mean? Also when a engine can compute one task in parallel (for example on 2 cores at once) fps would also increase. Also just FYI that's a chart which shows, we hit a frequency barrier atm, and the only way to get more performance rn is to improve corecount and ipc. @Storm-Chaser sorry for spamming your thread. also I'm curious about your CB scores!
  17. Could you please stop arguing in bold? Writing in bold doesn't make your claims more true. Also it causes eycancer, it's really hard to read. Also I think he's on a quite high horse tbh. IMHO: Cores are just as important as Frequency. The new game consoles will also have much more threads, which is going to cause a "shift" (already occuring) in engine development. Also the ability to do something in the background (streaming, vm's,....) without hurting your performance is something a enthusiast wants.
  18. Ordered the cables yesterday. Sleeves and wires are from MDPC-X
  19. they will both run at 1.36V then, but that's still fine
  20. I mean, when your gpu dies you'll notice that quite quickly. And for troubleshoot you don't actually need the bios.
