  1. My favorite vid from Jay: My favorite vid from Linus: Great giveaway guys!
  2. Has to be mobile and fit into my non-carry on bag as I will not have room for it since I will be using my carry on for the monitor. It will be staying in one place once I get it to either of my houses, also it is not intended to be a video editing rig as Go Pro's Software is pretty basic but more for ease of moving it from house to house which is a 1,500 mile or close to 2,500 km airplane trip each way.
  3. Thanks, I just looked at it again on YT and you are right! I guess I will just have to do the Mini ITX instead or change the case as you stated.
  4. Please read my needs before posting, I am looking to do a Micro ATX Build that can fit easily into a non-carry on bag and that will be able to survive a car and plane ride. I would like to use the Swiftech H220 regardless so please try to put that into perspective, I am not a fan of air cooled systems for such a hot and humid place such as Puerto Vallarta. 1. Location San Francisco Bay Area, CA $1,500 if need be 2. Aim My goals with this computer is to be able to travel with it from here to Puerto Vallarta where I spend up to 6 months of the year living. I am an avid Scuba Diver and I plan to start filming using a Go Pro 3+ Black Edition and would like to be able to Render and do light Editing. When I am here in the Bay Area I would like to Render and Edit videos and also be able to play BF4 or Titan Fall which I do not have currently. The only game I am playing right now is Counter Strike, but I do like to watch movies online through my AT&T Cable Internet package which allows me to watch my HDR on my PC. I tend to watch a lot of YT and movies and shows through AT&T so I kind of would like to optimize this system to do that as well. 3. Monitors Currently I do not have a monitor since I am pretty using a backup computer that I built for my brother like 5 years ago. I would like to figure out what kind of monitor I can run with this setup. I would like a 24" for ease of putting in my carry on bag and protecting it with clothes, so I will more than likely have 1080P 60Hz but not sure if 120Hz or 144hz would be something I could run. 4. Peripherals Well I guess after 7 years of using the same keyboard and mouse I should upgrade those as well along with the monitor and also a decent set of headphones. 5. Why are you upgrading? Last computer I built 7 years ago finally decided to die on me, I am pretty much sure it was the mobo. The two nearest transistors to the power supply do get hot but nothing else do, it was a AM2 socket build on a Asus M2N-E AMD Athlon X2 4600 which back then was a decent build for CS and doing other stuff with it. Here is the list of what I want so far which is a variation of Linus' Ultimate AMD Kaveri APU PC Computer How to Build from this morning. AMD A10 7850K Kaveri Mobo - ???? Samsung 840 Evo 250GB WD Blue 1TB BitFenix Prodigy M - Artic White Radeon R7 250X -Might as well RAM: 8GB G.Skill 2400MHz Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Operating System: Windows 8 Power Supply: ??? Cooling Components: Swiftech H220 Not sure what to use for the Front and Back, my main concern is the 25*C to 35*C and constant high humidity while in Puerto Vallarta. If possible a 144Hz 24" LED of if need be a 60Hz LED will do.
  5. I am looking to do a similar build to this but with a Micro ATX setup using a BitFenix Prodigy M case. Hopefully I can get some responses in the planning to build thread. My personal computer I put together with the help of my Bro-in law just died on me after 7 years of hard usage 3 mice and 1 monitor later. Still rocking my original Logitech 350 Internet Keyboard though Anyways I hope to get this build up and running soon!
  6. Hello Guys and Gals, Gio here from The San Francisco Bay Area in Beautiful California Just wanted to take a moment and say hi! I will be starting a thread or posting on another build thread if possible with what I would like to put together this week/end.
