    I suggest checking the reliability monitor or the event viewer. Last time I had a problem like this, it was because my HDD was damaged but not completely dead, even at this point it keeps working. It was only noticeable because the OS was in a different drive and only happened while playing games using the HDD. The drive did not show any SMART errors but as soon as I ran a short DST, it showed the error.

    I don't think that will be cost effective. The current XBOX and PS consoles may be computers but use custom parts. A console requires years to be developed and tested, this to be able to maintain some performance level for years without replacing any components. In the end, it does not make sense from a business perspective.

    Something like an nVidia GTX 1030 or AMD Radeon RX R550 should be enough. Just use the video ports in the video card, not the motherboard.

    Does not need any BIOS update. That is only needed for older boards or for a newer CPU. But a Ryzen 5 2600 and B450 is a match ??????

    Yes, do that, it helps a lot when you have to claim the warranty as the info is already in the manufacturer's system. Specially if you have multiple products of the same brand.

    I have one, it works like a charm with Corsair memory and a R7 2700X.

    Go for the basics: - Run a quick HDD test. - Disable all startup programs. - Run the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command. But in my opinion, with errors like these, sometimes is better to re-install Windows. Specially if you already have a backup of your system.
