  1. I was strongly considering the p40. Do you think this could handle 3D modeling and programming?
  2. I would like to stick between 13" and 15." I don't care too much about thunderbolt, but it would definitely be a plus.
  3. Would a mac be able to handle the engineering workload (without paying for the $2500 version)? this might not be a bad option
  4. I'm going to college this fall and am looking for a laptop. I will be studying Aerospace engineering, but I want to dabble in programming and design stuff as well. I definitely want it to be portable for college, but powerful enough so that I don't need to use labs to do my 3d modeling work or programming. I will have a PS4 so I don't plan on playing games, but I still want good processing power. My budget is around $1000-1500, but I might stretch it if it's worth it. And I really like nice touchpads (like a mac)
  5. The Razer blade stealth seems like an awesome option! Thanks for the help! Any suggestions on how much memory I should get, or an UHD vs QHD?
  6. I am going to college this fall to study engineering, and would like a laptop. I like the idea of a yoga style laptop because I want to be super portable. However, I want as much power as possible to do 3d modeling, autocad, programming, and some light games. I was thinking about possibly going with the Lenovo p40, but haven't seen many reviews, so if any one has any opinions I'd love to hear em! http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/p-series/p40-yoga/
  7. Hi. I havent overclocked or anything but i randomly checked the temps in my mobo today and TMPIN1 was at 80 degrees can anyone let me know if this is normal or why this is happening? thanks
  8. I forgot to mention, I realize my motherboard doesn't support SLI, so I'm running hyperSLI which is supposed to fix it. If anybody knows anything about this, please let me know because I don't really know how to use the software, although I do know that I installed it correctly.
  9. Hi, I just plugged in two EVGA GTX 660s, and the device manager will only show one. I know they both work, because when I switched them they both still worked. Also both fans run at once. Can anybody help? My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
  10. Hey if you know you want the xbone go for it. Just make sure you're not rushing the decision and you will actually have friends to play with on the xbox (I'm not trying to say you don't have friends, I'm just saying that I know my friends don't play as much as they used to and they are all split b/w the 360 and the xbone so not as many people play it anymore.) Only you can decide what's best for you and what makes you happy. If you know the xbone is what you want, go for it.

  12. Hi, I'd like to buy or build a ported box for my 10 inch infinity subwoofer. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-HxY9yHSjPzC/p_1081050W/Infinity-1050w.html I'd like it to not take up too much room but still give good loud sound (I care more about the boom than the sound quality) If you can find one that I can buy that fits the specs well that would work, if not I can try to build one custom but I don't know how to design it well. Thanks.
  13. Alright thanks for the help. Btw im about to start another thread on subwoofer enclosures if you would like to help You don't have to join in
