  3. Hey guys, So my brother asked me to get him a new PC, since he's using a Macbook and he knows I'm better than him with PC stuff, He'll mainly be using it for gaming and SOME college work, His budget is 1500$ CAD, and he has a 1080p 60hz monitor, Here's the build I made for him, Any suggestions on what I should change? 4. Make a new thread for this but anyways, I'd reccomend Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING, it's 139 CAD$ from memory express, Also If you can get a GTX 1660, maybe a MSI OC Edition, I think there are some sales for it maybe 199$ USD, 269$ CAD also from memory express, if you're getting the motherboard from memory express or gpu, get the cpu from memory express too, so you don't buy from 2 sites, it's the same price
  5. Lower the fan speed in MSI Afterburner. Then play a game or run a benchmark with temps on if temperature get's too high then increase the fan speed a bit, and repeat, if not then you're good.
  6. Also change the title, Make it something like "Free GTX 1060" since people might think of it as "haha y'all kids using a APU, kids" and not click on it.
  7. Pretty sure they don't IP-Ban for simple trolls.
  8. Chances are you won't find any kids on LTT, if you don't find someone, I'd recommend selling it for cheap to your customers, There are a lot of kids that shop for parts with their parents. Or you can give it to them for free, and You won't need to deal with shipping, etc.
  9. I mean, I don't even have a PC, I am planning on building one in Febuary, and I'm getting the 1660 ti, and I'd rather get a 1060 for free than pay for a 1660 ti, I'm in canada if you decide to give it to me, although if someone needs it, it's fine, cuz I was planning on paying for one anyways. BTW: I'm not a kid
  10. Yea the board has a 24 pin socket and it only goes in one way, so just connect the 4 pin with the 20 pin before plugging them in, once connected, plug them in the correct way. You can read the manual, it should say how to connect the 4 pin with 20 pin, etc.
  11. The richest guy in the world don't need 24 TB of storage or 128GB of DDR4-5000 Ram unless they own NASA
  12. They removed it from amazon, looks like they realized their mistake, pcpartpicker hasnt updated yet, prob will soon
  13. Click on "buying options" but they removed it, although the price still on pcpartpicker

  15. What's your current GPU? Might wanna upgrade your PSU Depending on power usage.
  16. what model is you psu, what's your gpu and cpu usage
  17. Well then it's fine if it's smooth, just put high graphics on and you'll realize it's still at 50-60 fps
