  1. Vid tldr: "Not only was Steve right, but the entire LMG is a complete sh*tshow. We promise to do better." Linus: "Sorry not sorry".
  2. Not surprisingly, you have omitted your qualifications to make these judgements. You and Linus have a lot in common. I'd offer that it's 100% up to Billet Labs to decide the value of the prototype, and the information it could provide to anyone. And at this point, they can pretty much write their own check.
  3. LMG may be more than Linus, but this issue is 100% Linus. If LMG wants to survive, their new CEO needs to make a public apology, settle matters with Billet Labs and recover their property, and put a short leash on Linus immediately.
  4. Excuse me, but your god complex is showing. You had already decided the outcome of this "review" before you ever touched the product. Did you forget that you don't dictate what companies make? You are NOT the "almighty all-knowing illustrious high potentate" of PC accessory marketing, you are actually just some hack who is (was) entertaining and sells overpriced screwdrivers. In no way, shape, or form are you qualified to decide what should and should not be marketed, and your comments towards Billet Labs are exceptionally rude and condescending. You're about to pay the price of abusing your increasingly ill-gotten fame, and it couldn't be more glorious. Now go "play the room" somewhere else, you're just about done here. You've tripled down on all your errors, and I don't see any way you can recover. You better beg Billet Labs for forgiveness, recover the property you stole, and pray they don't sue your socks off.
  5. Asus XG 438 monitor, brand new, and the crosshair function will not stay centered. It drifts 4-10 pixels in random directions in a matter of minutes, and I am positive it is moving since I have put a physical sticker on the monitor to be sure. Asus customer support is completely worthless, they want me to send a video and screenshot of the problem. The crosshair is a hardware function, it does not show up in either, duh! I've tried multiple resets, everything I can think of, no go. I love this monitor, but I bought it for the crosshair. Anyone able to help?
  6. I appreciate the reply from an adult, I was fully expecting at least some from head-banging basement dwellers lol. I've considered using software, but I'm pretty sure the anti-cheat would tag anything that hooks the program. It does seem like ASUS has a real problem with the dot staying in one place, I may just go ahead and get the Samsung G9. The ASUS does have the advantage of offering a very small dot (only about 5 pixels), but when it migrates it's not really useful. On the topic of "cheating" (for the twelve year olds), it's darn hard to cheat when you're only fighting the occasional npc. Rust dev's have added a LOT of pve oriented content to the game: electricity, modular cars, elevators, farming, and many other features that will never be experienced by those who seldom advance above banging the rocks together. These are quite complex and very entertaining elements of the game, it's too bad more haven't noticed this. And further, a hardware crosshair doesn't qualify as "cheating", this is common knowledge. I'm guessing most who call it cheating are the ones who think they're so smart no one knows THEY are using it!
  7. Spoken like a true toxic Rust player. I play PvE, Rust has a lot more to offer than just spoiled 12 year-olds screaming obscenities. Grow up, get smart.
  8. I recently purchased an ASUS VG32VQ monitor specifically for the built-in crosshair feature. Unfortunately, the crosshair will not stay centered and migrates 5-10 pixels in a random direction while in-game (Rust). I was formerly using a stick-on crosshair and it was always dead on, so I am certain this is not a game issue. I have also verified this by applying a sticker to this monitor, and indeed the dot generated by the ASUS monitor does not stay aligned with the sticker. The dot is positioned with a joystick on the rear of the monitor, and there is absolutely no software involved or even available that could affect it. It is a hardware feature, integral to the monitor alone. ASUS support is useless, they keep asking for screen shots and videos. They don't seem to realize that the dot doesn't even appear in screenshots... Any ideas?
  9. It would probably be easier to build a second rig and get a KVM switch.
  10. Reached #1 on my team, but not sure I can hold it. I had a 2060 fail last week, hopefully it gets back soon.
  11. You clearly understand the remote access function of the FAH program, so could you give me a brief rundown on how to make it work? I've tried entering the local IP address range of the machines I want to monitor and opened port 36330 for each, but all I can get is an orange "connecting" message that never connects. I'm running eight separate rigs, so any assistance you can give would be much appreciated!
  12. @Koppa315 Thank you very much, it's much more clear to me now. I also ran it all past my son (who is fluent in Python) and he was impressed with your code. Thanks also for the fine script! This is what I've been doing manually since I started folding, but I'm not anywhere near so prompt and reliable. I'm trying to keep 3x 2080ti, 2x 1070ti, a 2060 and a 1660ti busy 24/7, and it is a challenge. I'm retired (and a pc nut) so this really makes me feel like I'm doing something useful right now.
  13. Ok, I've got this installed and running, and it's doing the whole "countdown" thing in the command window. But assuming I'm very python-illiterate (which I am), how does this script know what program to interact with? I'm not seeing anything in the script that associates it to FAH...? Being the paranoid sort, how do I know this isn't just crediting all my points to another user?
  14. Broke the single day 10 million PPD mark yesterday, and looking pretty good for today too!
