  2. Didn't say they 'need' an amp, but it would be worth getting one considering that the DT990s and Fiio E10k would still be within his budget. It depends on if he gets the 32, 250 or 600 Ohm version.
  3. AKG K7XX, Sennheiser HD518, 558 or 598, Beyerdynamic DT990 Premium, Philips Fidelio X2 This headphone gaming guide is very helpful: http://www.head-fi.org/t/534479/mad-lust-envys-headphone-gaming-guide-2-17-2015 Edit: I would recommend an amp/dac for the AKGs and Beyers. The Fiio E10k is a good choice.
  4. ROG Swift, but it's not cheap and certainly not 'mid-range'. If you want something more affordable, you could get a Qnix and overclock it to ~100hz. It's 1440p, but it doesn't have g-sync and the response time higher than the Swift. It is only a third of the price though.
  5. Might be loose heatsink fins. Had that problem with my EVGA 780 Ti (ACX)
  6. Why would you want to remove the fans? Are they making noise?
  7. So having the inlet and oulet at the bottom would be better? Or is there a better way of doing this?
  8. I'm currently upgrading my build and am thinking about adding a second reservoir (top left in the picture). Because of space restrictions, It looks like I need to use the top of that reservoir as an inlet AND outlet. Is that possible? By the way, I will remove the top mesh, so that there is enough room for the (acrylic) tubing.
  9. There's a mini valve next to the pump (it's silver) and I can turn it 90° and then open it to drain the loop.
  10. I agree with everything Enderman said. I think you could shorten the tubing and then turn the radiator to have the bards at the top.
  11. I'd get a 1440p monitor and use the that asus one as a secondary display.

  14. Looks great. I would get a korean 1440p monitor from eBay if you can afford it. That's the only thing I'd change.
  15. Thanks! I didn't spray paint the motherboard, that's just what the Asus Z77 Sabertooth looks like. The camouflage is only on the Z97 Sabertooth.
  16. Yeah, the Qnix is great and really cheap. The Asus PB278Q (which I have) is also great. And of course, if you're made of money, you could get the ROG Swift

  18. I'm having trouble setting up Nvidia Surround for the first time. I opened the Nvidia Control Panel and selected 'Configure Surround, PhysX'. Then I checked the box next to 'Span displays with Surround' and clicked Apply. After configuring the topology, resolution and bezel correction, I clicked on 'Enable Surround' and got a BSOD (nvlddmkm.sys). Please help me!
  19. That's huge! I'd rather have a smaller laptop without an optical drive.
  20. I actually think an optical drive isn't necessary.
