I was thinking of upgrading from my iphone 7 plus to the Samsung Note9, anyone use it and any opinions? I saw the screen is hecka expensive and it only got a 4-10 on ifixit so thats worrysome..

Can't cost more to replace the screen that it does on the iPhone XS Max. Or the back glass for that matter. You could buy a Note 9 for the back glass replacement cost on a XS Max.

One of my friends got a Note 9 (on contract) but I gotta warn you that unless you're getting it on contract don't buy it.

Non contract price is too expensive. Also, is the 7 Plus not doing it for you anymore?

Its on contract owo And its alright. I do love my iphone but the verizon insurance cost too much to use, my ear-speaker is barely audible at max volume during a call, screen cracked(Yes it has a screen protector, phone landed on corner where no protectors reached) I kinda wanna fix it myself but phone repair standards are so bad ease-of-repair wise. That and I feel like I’m supporting apple and their business practices and thats getting harder with every apple news story xwx

Any particular reason Note 9? S9 is like 90% as good for around 70% of the price.

Not really owo I watched the iphone video and the note9 was recommended heavily by Linus, so thats kinda whut my logic for choosing it is

Ok. Cos if you don't need the S Pen then the S9 is functionally basically identical.

S9 has slightly less RAM than Note 9 (4GB vs 6GB) but honestly not a big deal.

    Also possibly Note 7 2.0 :D

every phone catches on fire at some point because of a faulty battery

remember the amount of phones that are made, and the amount of batteries..
