Like the title states, would there be any way to add the new nuc to a prexisting desktop computer via the pcie and get any access to the computer? Is it even a real pcie connection or one just mean for an actual pcie device?

What type of CPU is required for a NAS? Could I get away with a Celeron or i3? a really old i7?
