I got several m.2 cards laying around and using a single m.2 usb c adapter for it to swap in between. Is there a recommendation for any pci cards that are able to accept 4 m.2? Im not looking for raid setup. I’ve tried the Asus hyper (v2) and system only saw 2 of the 4 m.2’s.

Im Running windows 11 right now and I pretty much enjoy it so far. It was a hazzle for me to get the tpm to work since im using an AMD CPU ( 2700x ). At the moment I have all my upgrade parts ready, but someone from work told me that the tpm stores their values into the cpu and if you switch cpu's its going to cause you issues with windows 11. I dont think this is true, but now im really doubting myself since im ready to replace these parts. The cpu i am upgrading to is a ryzen 9 5900x and gpu is from gtx 1080 to a rtx 3090 ti oc. Would this even matter even if im going to reinstall windows 11?

Yup that did the thing, the cooling paste was really hard. and i think when i removed the gpu something happened i guess with the paste not doing its thing anymore. Checked the warranty and well its expired. So i went for it and replaced the paste and voila temps are back to normal. Thank you all for your help!

Well the previous case that i had was a VENGEANCE® C70 Mid-Tower Gaming Case — Military Green Temps were ok between 50-70C

The thing is it has a big gap inbetween the glass panel and the fans theres enough airflow into it https://rog.asus.com/cases/rog-strix-helios-model/spec

Theres 3 120 fans and theres a big gap inbetween so it gives enough airflow inside.

Why?

I recently got a new case the Asus ROG Strix Helios, I am very impressed how everything is so easy to install into that case. But the problem I am having right now is that the GPU Temperature is spiking up so high that I can barely run games without the fans going 100% and GPU temps reaching a new high (90 to 95C) I had a very old case from corsair were it was just falling apart which is why I needed a new Case. Temps were fine before. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Specs GPU: Asus8GB D5X GTX 1080 STRIX AG CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X + Stock Cooler Ram: 32GB

Im curious tho, how is 2x 16 better than 4x 8? wasnt it better practice to have 4x 8?
