  1. Prehaps the issue lies with your HDD/bad sectors or a faulty Windows 10. Could you 'open cmd with administrator rights and there type chkdsk /F /R -> press Enter'
  2. What type of power supply unit are you using? It could be that your PSU isn't giving enough power to your GPU/CPU etc
  3. Just out of curiosity, can you also view the 5G channels?
  4. Could you download a Wifi analyzer app on your phone to view if other signals from outside your network are interfering? Basically just walk around your house with this app to view if there might be an interference. Best to do this around 08:00 PM (most people are then home from work and doing stuff on their own network. That's the moment when interference might be the highest. If your laptop (and other home devices) can handle 5G you might want to upgrade your router to a newer model that supports 5G.
  5. What are the results if you connect your device to an ethernet cable? Stable / unstable Are you connected to a 2.4G or a 5G wifi connection? It could be wifi interference if you're on a 2.4G network. What kind of router do you have? If you're on a 2.4G network you could use all sorts of apps to scan your area on what type of signals are around you. Then select the proper wifi channel with the least interference.
  6. I'd start with a new CPU and MOBO. A big-boy GPU isn't needed if this is only a work PC. What kind of PSU do you gave?
  7. I would also not bother with buying such an expansive Windows key. It's true that you can get it for way cheaper. I'd rather stick that money in buying a extra 3.5" HDD. So you can keep your m.2 SSD as empy as possible.
  8. Any suggestions on a good upgrade on the ram I currently have?
  9. Thank you for your reply. Sadly because of COVID19 we're not able to go out for dinner yet. I just like to work a bit on further upgrading my pc to pass the time
  10. Budget (including currency): € 500,- would love to stay at this price range but I could go up to max. 600. Country: Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: High-end games + multiple office programs and some light administration work (excel) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I current hardware: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 3,6 GHz - overclocked to 4,0 GHz with stock cooler. MOBO: MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3600MHz CL18 RGB M.2 SSD: Intel 660p 1TB - I have 570 GB free space on my M.2 GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G - Slightly overclocked PSU: Corsair TX550M V2 PSU Case: Fractal Design Focus G Black OS: Windows 10 Pro X64 Router: TP-Link Archer C1200 So I currently have some money to blow out the window and I like to further upgrade my PC. I'm currently thinking of either upgrading my RAM (2 out of 4 slots are currently filled.) Or getting a 3.5 inch HDD for extra storage. I am a freelancer so I keep all my administration on a cloud program called pCloud (500GB online storage subscription). I do all my work on this PC which excist mainly on remote desktop support, running backups, games like Doom Ethernal or playing games on emulators. I occasionally have to run Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I also do some slight work on FL Studio when i feel creative.
  11. Final question. When selecting a M.2 SSD pcpartpicker gives me: Compatibility: Warning! These parts have potential issues or incompatibilities. See details below. Can i just ignore this? Estimated Wattage: 384 PSU gives me 550w
  12. Learning as I go... :') What about this board: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX https://www.sicomputers.nl/msi-b450-tomahawk-max-moederbord-socket-am4-atx-amd-b450-id-755375.html
  13. I have Windows 10 standby and ready to go. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 has a socket AM4 And both motherboards uses a AM4
  14. Then I guess i'm done Unless anyone else likes to add something to this list
  15. Can I ask why you changed the Storage from a M.2 SSD to a 2.5 sata SSD?
