  1. Easiest option is if you are able to too perform a fresh install of Windows, but you would need a Windows installer disk or USB. Otherwise you can download the Windows 10 install on another computer and setup a USB to be an installer, that's if you have access to another computer
  2. I just wanted to let you know, in order for the person your replying to to see your message in their notification box you have to hit the quote button below their message and then type in your message. Otherwise they won't know you have replied unless they manually check back to this thread.
  3. Just a heads up that if you want the person your replying to to see your message in their notifications you need to click the 'quote' button under their post.
  4. Sounds like it is your grandmother that has the addiction to electronics and not you.
  5. Just try taking everything out and test boot on cardboard boxes if you have any spare, although I doubt it's a short as a short from a standoff will usually not allow the computer to try booting at all. Is the GTX 1060 one you had installed in the PC before the case swap over? or did you just install it as well?
  6. The RX 470 was released in 2016 not 2014, you would have to have an even older card if you purchased the card 4 years ago.
  7. If you have a Z270 board then a i5 7600K or i7 7700K (I recommend the i7 if your wanting to keep the same PC for a few years and/or run games such as BF1, I found that the i5 7600k didn't cut it for playing BF1 with a GTX 1070) are the better choices since you will be able to overclock on that board. Although you will need a third party (Corsair, Cooler Master and so on) CPU cooler.
  8. You need to quote people in your posts so they can see that you have responded. Unplug all drives that aren't the Windows HDD and see if it still crashes, the reason why i recommend this is that if one of your 'data/game' drive is faulty it can still cause the PC to crash even when your not running anything off them. The other possible fault could be the RAM, so if unplugging the HDD's doesn't fix the issue try removing all but one stick of RAM and testing on that, if the PC crashes with that stick try removing that one and install another RAM stick. This only works if you have multiple sticks of RAM.
  9. If a new series card is expected to come out in the next month and it will take you about a month to save up your money then it will be worth it to leave purchasing the GPU until last. If the new series is too expensive (which they usually are to supply limitations) then just get the RX 580 which should come down in price due to the new cards.
  10. Nice build, the only thing i would add to this is an SSD if you can afford it. Even a 120GB SSD will be fine (just put Windows and any programs on it and keep all your games on the HDD). Also you don't need the thermal paste as the included cooler for the AMD CPU comes with thermal paste on the cooler already, unless you have a third party cooler your going to be installing.
  11. If the P300 is $20-$30 more in your area then the Focus G then go the P300, otherwise get the Focus G
  12. Really depends on the price compared to other cases such as the P300 where you live, as i would say the P300 is a far better looking case (with Glass side panel) but you lose the better airflow compared to the Focus G. That being said i would only expect the P300 to be around 5-8 degrees hotter.
  13. If you get custom made cables designed for your PSU you should be safe.
