  1. Hi! It sounds like your theory is just about right, I did some quick googling and found that Lenovo Support actually recommends doing a hard shutdown of the computer without the A/C Adapter plugged in, making it re-do the full power cycle before turning on completely. It seems like a known issue and you should be happy it (hopefully) only was the Power Cycle that didn't go through fully, have you been able to reproduce the error to actually confirm it could be the hard shutdown that solves it?
  2. I'm not sure but it looks like you are using both the External Nividia Graphics Card & the Internal Intel Graphics Card? Are you using multiple monitors? Make sure that they are connected to the graphics card. CPU & Ram Usage looks very normal.
  3. It seems like this is a steam related problem, have you tried: Reinstalling the game Verifying the game files for CS:S Clearing download cache Launching it as an administrator Launching Steam as Administrator and then trying to launch CS:S Downloading the game to another location on your computer Run a system file checker to check for faulty DLL files https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-run-system-file-checker-analyze-its-logs-in-windows-7-vista These are some things you could try out for starters
  4. Hi! These are some things you could check if you have done: Updated to the latest drivers, Bios, Graphics etc. See if any process is taking up unusual amounts of Ram / CPU Update to the latest version of Windows (1903) it recently got upgraded with a new update in October, might have missed it. Generally check for any updates regarding Windows ^ This link https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/how-do-i-increase-idle-time-in-windows-10/d8d0f8b9-69b1-4fbf-9e16-59504cd5f89b Provides an answer on how to increase the idle time. Good luck, hear back if nothing worked!
  5. List of things you could try: As Above me said, check for bloatware Update drivers, not just graphics, firmware, bios etc Provide a screenshot of RAM & CPU Usage during idle Battery & Power settings, check if they are at max performance or not? These are some things I thought of at the top of my head. If you could provide the full Laptop Name that would make the troubleshooting easier, as it narrows down the searches you have to do. But first and foremost, check the things I wrote up top
  6. I've looked into the USB Switch hub that you are using, it seems that a lot of reviews state that it doesn't work correctly with Mouse & Keyboard as it should, a lot of it has been some of these things: Needs an External Power Cable for Power Hungry devices (Razer Naga could be power hungry, 12 buttons you know?) Keyboard and or Mouse not showing up in Devices Making their PC Laggy Drivers needs to be updated so it (hopefully) works correctly I'd suggest first hand trying to get an External Power Cable if you already don't have one, also updating drivers if you can find any. The thing I'd suggest second hand is... Investing in a better one, unfortunately. It just seems that this one is loaded with problems and even though the good reviews on Amazon, it doesn't seem like the reviewers are using it the way you are. Hope this helps!
  7. Then I am all out of ideas.. I guess waiting game applies. Look at this link that I've found, It states that Brawlhalla among a whole list of other games will be updated for 64-bit support soon on OS X Catalina. https://www.macgamerhq.com/opinion/32-bit-mac-games/ What this relies on is that Catalina Os X uses 64-bit and will only support 64-bit games, that said. Brawlhalla is 32-bit and will soon be updated to be able to run on OS X Catalina! So It's all about waiting now! At the very end, you get an answer which hopefully satisfies you Happy gaming out there my Viking Brother Edit: Also what you could do if you're impatient, is downgrade back to 10.14 OS X Mojave, which I am not too sure how to do.
  8. Make sure that all your drivers for the Dell is updated too, I've seen this question resolved a lot of times by just updating the drivers. iirc there should be some Bios & Firmware updates readily available for you If you haven't updated in a while. 9. See if this has anything that works https://www.thewindowsclub.com/turn-off-language-bar-windows
  10. I do work in IT-Support for a living, so I would hope that I am good at it, thanks!
  11. I did some research about this, MAC x Steam Games Compatibility, it seems after Mac OS X Updates such as the newest one (Catalina) can temporarily break the compatibility, which means the games cannot be launched. If this is the case, then the waiting game applies. Meanwhile you could try; Repairing Steam Library Delete Download Cache Change Download Location on your computer Change Download Location from what you're using to something else, (ex. Sweden to Germany) Download 64 bit version of steam if you are running 32-bit. If this doesn't work then as I said above, waiting game applies. There has been a few other instances where this has been the fault. 13. Woah! This site seems fully loaded with courses. Thank you very much for this link. I'll check it out further!
  14. Hey people! I work as an Support / Service IT Technician and I am thinking about a field that I would like to specify on. I can give you a list of fields we work in. Office 365 Windows Server 2008-2012 AD Permissions, Mail Servers, Virtual Desktops, Connectivity Issues, Network Printers, Configurations, Certificates, Rules etc. Network Printers I'm looking for any online courses which have either Office or Windows Server courses, it could be Youtube videos, a fully fledged online Course or something. We have some spare time here sometimes and I think It'd be neat to invest my time into something that actually helps my workdays. If you have something pop-up into your mind, feel free to reply. It could also be a 10min informative video about anything regarding all this! Cheers.
