I'm finally looking to pick up RDR2 and Steam is the cheapest place I can find it.

I'm in a dilemma though, between the different editions:

  • Standard Edition: £47,99, Base Edition of the Game
  • Special Edition: £50,24. Standard Edition +
    • Bank Robbery Mission and Gang Hideout in Story Mode
    • Dappled Black Thoroughbred
    • Talisman and Medallion Gameplay Bonuses
    • Gameplay Boosts, Cash Bonuses & Discounts
    • The Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit
    • Free Access to Additional Weapons
  • Ultimate Edition: £53,99, Special Edition +
    • Black Chestnut Thoroughbred
    • Free Access to Additional Weapons
    • Bonus Outfits

Which Edition should I go for?

  1. Mateyyy

    Mateyyy

I'd say Standard just because I don't really like those extra bonuses when playing campaigns. They tend to just ruin the whole progression aspect about a game imo.

  2. DrMacintosh

    DrMacintosh

If the goal is saving money, just get the standard version. The extra stuff you get won't be worth it. It never is.
