    U just can go the official site that want to buy and check that motherboard memory support,or U can just go AliExpress and search.(Actually the AliExpress has a lot of secondhand board because it  is the TaoBao in China and btw i am a Chninese。)

    That guy might be using a older platform such 3rd gen Core processor i think.

    Well, of course it will work, but only at 1333MHz.

    ddr3 and older isn't quite as user friendly as ddr4 so it's kind of a tossup if your board will know to run it slower or will just not run at all with unsupported memory

    possibly. When I had a core2duo I used memory that was a higher frequency than my motherboard supported.

    Well actually it might depend on the Freequency that the chipset inside your motherboard that support.
