  1. Allright, these are specs that I understand too. Thanks for the help, I think I'll get the C5 then!
  2. Thanks guys! Although I did see a cheaper router on the TP-Link website with about the same specs called the C50. Would you think that is any good? It goes for much less in my country than the C5. The C50: http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-9_Archer-C50.html#overview
  3. Hi. I recently moved to a new apartment which means I need to get rid of my old VDSL modem/router/whatever and embrace the fiber era. Obviously, I want Wi-Fi in my new apartment too so I've been trying to decide which router to get. I don't know that much about networking stuff so I decided to check what the wonderful community of LTT thinks. The budget isn't really a problem but I wouldn't like to overshoot too much since my internet use isn't that demanding. I wouldn't like to go over 80€ (about the same in $), but I'm willing to expand my budget if I can't get a decent one with the original amount. The only requirements of the router are that it should be powerful enough so the signal could penetrate a ~30 cm brick wall and that it could sustain good connections with 4-5 devices at a time. Also my internet speeds are 100/100 if it matters. I've already been looking at the Asus RT-N56U and TP-Link WDR4600 but since I'm a newbie most of the stuff is hebrew to me. Someone said somewhere on this forum that the Asus one had overheating issues? And if someone knows something with specs that meet my reqiurements but has a lower price it's always better. TL;DR need a new router with good specs but don't want to spend a ton of money. Many thanks in advance!

I mean, it's awesome that you're moving away from YouTube's terrible model of treating content creators like crap but it's also kinda hard for me to digest that I might have to pay to see these videos in the future. And before I get any h8, I know I don't have to pay necessarily and I also know that this content is one of the things that are definitely worth paying for. It's just my situation what bothers me; as a poor student it might be hard to find the money for a premium account. Vessel makes it even harder by not telling how much they want after the trial. And their (so-called) HD sucks ass. Even more than YouTube's. Anyways, I'll try to stick with LTT since this is easily the best tech site (channel, community whatever you want to call it) on the internet. P.S. If someone from the team reads this: LINUS, WE DON'T WANT YOUR PERSONAL RIG. IT IS YOURS. MUCH SENTIMENTAL VALUE, SUCH EPICNESS. Please keep it. EDIT: Found out (through a few hoops) that it's $2,99 a month, not so bad I guess. But where the heck is the Android app? Come on. It'd better be in the works already!
  5. Dayum, one would have been awesome already but two.. wow.
  6. So does this affect all the 840 EVOs? I just built a new system and I haven't experienced this yet but I guess it will appear eventually. Has anyone lost data when applying this fix? I read that there's a chance but any info on the rate of success on this?
  7. Well, it does look really nice like that "in it's natural habitat". I'm guessing it has worked ok in your build?
  8. Hello. I'm building my first rig and I'm having trouble deciding which motherboard to go with. I thought maybe you guys could help a noob out? So is there any reason to pay 60€ more for the Mark 1 (vs. the Mark 2)? Is there even any reason to buy a Sabertooth at all? I'm aiming for longevity and I've heard that the TUF series boards last forever. I'm also open to other boards if you have recommendations, but I'd like to hear something concrete like your own experiences on the products. Thanks in advance.

  10. It's really hard to pick the best thing about this phone since there are so many. I'd probably say it's the sleek looks/waterproofness which pretty much go hand in hand. And the looks are even better with the skin . And dbrand is great for being such good sports in there and sending poor ol' Linus the review unit.
  11. The selling point for me would be the balance they have managed to strike between performance and nice looks.
