  1. Ya I read alot about it, but all of the complaints are complaints that are just inherent with VA panels. I've never seen a panel that matched IPS color or didn't have smearing. At the end of the day, $560 after tax was too good of a deal to pass up. If it is too much or a problem I'll be returning it and probably just biting the bullet, going above budget, and getting the new ultragear that comes out in a couple of weeks https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08DWD38VX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_bd1xFb0A2VFBC
  2. I'm in the same boat looking for something in the same price Right now I've got it pretty much down to these two Lenovo with a coupon from honey I'd like $530 and there's 8% back with rakuten too https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/accessories-and-monitors/monitors/gaming/G34w-10G193403G034inch-Monitor-HDMI/p/66A1GCCBUS Asus is only 100hz, but it is IPS https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-34-rog-swift-ultrawide-wqhd-5ms-gtg-curved-ips-led-g-sync-gaming-monitor-pg348q-open-box/14350489
  3. If you're coming from a 32" tv, just get a VA panel. It will be a huge upgrade for you. Would ips be better? Sure, if you really want slightly better viewing angles and colour. A VA panel will give you better picture quality though with 2-3x the contrast and better colour saturation
  4. All of the reviews I've seen state the opposite. Most say that it has next to no blur and about the best colour on a VA panel.
  5. I've also been looking for a 32" 144hz panel. I've got it narrowed down to the following displays: Pixio PX329 LG 32GK650F AOC CQ32G1 Maybe one of these will work for you. The AOC is especially nice because it has a 3 year, zero dead pixel warranty.
  6. LG 27GL650F and Samsung LU32R590CWNXZA
  7. Considering the most important aspect of image quality is contrast ratio, I'd say that's not true at all. I have a 27" 144hz IPS and a 32" 4K monitor and I would say that the IPS has slightly more accurate colours, but the picture quality on my VA takes dumps on it overall.
  8. Considering for that price you can get an hdr1000 display I would say it is not even close to worth spending that on an hdr400 monitor I can't wait until HDR takes off on PC. It is the best thing to happen to video since colour tvs
  9. The Pixio monitor uses the same AU Optronics panel as the LG 32GK650F and has the fastest input lag tested, but has a 2ms slower response time than the LG coming in at a little over 8ms (per hardware unboxed). The combined input lag + response time is essentially identical on the two. 9.8ms on the LG to 10 on the Pixio The Pixio does have other weaknesses though, like the inability to process an HDR signal .
  10. So long as the response time is under 17ms you'll be fine. Your monitor will only refresh once every 16.7 ms
  11. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be such a thing as a 32" 144hz ips I currently have a 32" 4k va monitor and a the 27" 144hz ips I bought is too small next to it
  12. Pixio PX329 $420 Samsung LC32HG70QQNXZA $560 LG 32GK650F-B $500 AOPEN 32HC1QUR $360 prices in CAD I want a 32" 144hz display. These are the ones that have piqued my interest
  13. Anyone have any ideas? The LED strip I installed also works. It's just the front fan LEDs that don't work when in aura sync mode
  14. I actually have 2 strips coming Tuesday. I was just hoping the 2 front fans on my cas would work too
  15. Hey everyone I'm having an issue with my new build. I have the x570 Asus TUF board and the Thermaltake View 37 aRGB case The case has a board on that connects all the fans to the motherboard for aura sync. This works great, but it only controls my one rear fan. The 2 front fans are left turned off at all times. If I turn off Aura sync and use the case controls, everything works fine.
