  1. Yay! Perfect timing too - I just finished rebuilding a PC with a 3060ti. Happy to put those cycles to a good cause! Side note, this was my first time installing F@H on Mint Linux. Got it working eventually but it was a bit more involved than Windows. (admittedly I'm not a Linux super user yet lol). Has anyone seen more effective PPD using Linux vs Windows?
  2. Dang it! Left my system folding while I was away and it crashed. Still getting a few WUs in, and hopefully it'll be more stable for next time.
  3. Summary Intel has filed a patent for a new "Level 4 cache" process, designed to rival AMD's 3D V-Cache. This L4 cache is called "adamantine" (ADM) and will be part of the upcoming Intel 4 process lineup, aka Meteor Lake. Quotes My thoughts Makes sense Intel would try to launch a competing technology to AMD's 3D v-cache. Their abbreviation for "adamantine" (ADM) makes things a bit confusing for the dyslexic among us (such as myself). Unlike a typical AIO cooler, with a radiator and a CPU block, this new loop goes from the radiator to the CPU to a RAM water-block, and back. According to PCGamer, According to the company's press release, the products will launch in Q3 2020 in 360mm and 240mm radiator variants, and include a 2 year warranty. On the plus side, having a single device for the RGB on one's CPU, two fans, and RAM could simplify RGB management, as the press release states the RGB can be Not sure who's demanding watercooled RAM, but time (and and benchmarks) will tell if the benefits are tangible.

My wife has a lime plant. It needs to be kept warm in the winter to stay alive. So I run my folding PC in the same room as the plant, and it keeps that room hot enough to keep the lime plant alive.
