  1. My rig: CPU: AMD FX-8320 GPU: MSI R9 270X GAMING 2GB MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P (rev 1.0) RAM: KINGSTON HYPERX BEAST 2X4GB DDR3 1600MHz PSU: FSP RAIDER 650W 80+ SILVER CASE: COOLER MASTER N500 HDD: WD BLUE 1TB MONITOR: PHILIPS 170S OS: WINDOWS 10 PRO 64BIT PC PARTS PICKER LINK (I couldn't find my monitor and RAM) I have had this setup since 2014. My problem: A few months ago while playing TF2, my monitor went black and displayed - "Cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1280x1024@60Hz". What I have tried: - connected my PC to my monitor (the Philips 170S) with and without AMD drivers through VGA (the monitor has only 1 input) and I get the "Cannot display this video mode..." - connected my PC to my TV (Panasonic TX-47AS750E) without AMD drivers through HDMI and I get colorful static (with AMD drivers I get a black screen). - connected my PC to my other TV (Panasonic TX-L19X10EW) with and without AMD drivers through VGA and I get a black screen. - connected it again to the same TV (Panasonic TX-L19X10EW) with AMD drivers through HDMI and I get a black screen. ***--- the only time it booted into Windows was on the Panasonic TX-L19X10EW TV without AMD drivers through HDMI and, strangely, 1/3 of the desktop screen was outside the monitors boundaries as if the picture is not centered to the TV display. After that small success I reinstalled Windows, my RAM sticks and the GPU, used older the most recent AMD drivers but nothing changed. - I installed my GPU into my cousin's PC (he has a GTX 950 with an i3 6100 so hopefully his drivers didn't interfere with my test) and connected it through VGA to his similar to mine fossil of a monitor and got a black screen. That last test made me think that my GPU is the problem but I can't' make the connection as to why I can boot into Windows in one specific case. Is there any life left in that MSI dragon ? Thank you for your time !
  2. I'm trying to fix a Galaxy S3 and my main problem is this: White Screen Image I think that it's a hardware issue but in the past few hours I've been trying to flash the stock rom. Unfortunately I haven't had any luck because I get an error from Odin "There is no PIT partition". Odin Error Here's what I tried: -Odin 3.04, 3.07, 3.09 and 3.11.1 -4 different USB cables which I plugged into a USB 2.0 port on the back of my motherboard -reinstalled the Samsung USB drivers -tried to flash on 2 PCs -tried to update via KIES but gets stuck on 0% while updating KIES is not running while I'm using Odin and I paste the path to the .tar.md5 file in the PAD(for older versions) or AP(for newer versions) tab. In both new and old versions Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked and everything else is unchecked. It doesn't seem that I can get into the recovery or get the phone to boot normally because of the white screen with gray lines but I can get into downloading mode and it shows this: -Product name: GT-I9300 -Custom binary download: No -Current binary: Samsung official -System status: Custom If it's a hardware issue then I know that there is no way to fix it. I still think that something can be done and I hope you guys can give me some advice. Thank you.
  3. Linus there is no need for words. You know what you must do and do it efficiently. PS: Did you saw what I did there ?
  4. Updated my drivers to 14.7 Beta and I removed Avira. Unfortunately that didn't help.
  5. I removed and reseated the GPU but it didn't work. I can't test without the GPU because I don't have on board graphics. Using MSI Afterburner I lowerd the core clock from 1080 to 1000 but it still freezes/crashes.
  6. Hi everyone ! My problem is as follows. I boot my PC and leave it at idle. Everything is normal but then I decide to start surfing or play a game. I start watching a video on YouTube and after 10 seconds my PC freezes and shows a white blank screen. Same thing with games but with different colors ( I played Portal 2 and it showed a blue-ish blank screen for Team Fortress 2 - green-ish). I restarted my PC and I decided to run some scans. Malwarebytes didn't detect anything. Avira on the other did but they were not related to my problem since it didn't fix anything. I then checked if there was a fan not working properly. Turned out that they were completely fine. I checked the temps of my GPU and CPU at idle and when trying to watch a video on YouTube. The CPU was at 25-30 and my GPU - 40 degrees celcius. I thought could be from my monitor but that wasn't true. That was because when I press Num Lock on the keyboard while it crashed, the LED didn't do anything and the sound (if I was watching a video) started to lag. This is my configuration: PC SPECS: CPU: AMD FX 8320 (not overclocked) GPU: MSI R9 270X OC GAMING EDITION RAM: KINGSTON HyperX BEAST 2x4GB 1600Mhz Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB PSU: FSP RAIDER 650W Silver Case: COOLER MASTER N500
  7. What I love about the Xperia Z2 is the camera and that you can submurge it underwater. Frontfacing speakers are also a really nice feature. On my current phone the speaker is on the back which makes it a bit hard to listen videos, music etc. Better viewing angles are really great. The owner probably won't hold the phone in strange ways but showing something to a friend is a lot easier on the Z2 rather than on the Z1. dbrand is amazing. I've seen MKBHD's skins and a PS4 skin. Really cool looking and I'm interested to see this skin.

  9. So 4 beeps in an AMI BIOS mean this - 4 short System timer failure- The system clock/timer IC has failed or there is a memory error in the first bank of memory. I don't quite understand it. What should I do to fix this ?
  10. I've removed and installed my ram (Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4 1600Mhz CL9 1.65V). I made 3 boot tests and I haven't heard the first deep beep since. The normal one that I recognize is still there though. My BIOS however says that my RAM's latency is 11 not 9 and that I've installed them in the second and fourth dimm. I checked to see if I've installed my ram in the first and second dimm according to the motherboard (the gray dimm sockets) and I've done just that.
  11. Hi. I've had my new computer for about 2 weeks now and I've noticed that at POST it beeped 2 times rather than one like my old PC did. The first beep is something like a deep toned beep. After that there is a second one and I recognize it because it sounds like the normal beep my old PC did at POST. My motherboard is this one CLICK and I have an AMI BIOS. Should I be concerned about those 2 beeps ?
  12. No it's not in my build yet. It will though hopefully.
  13. So my motherboard is this: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P. And my memory is this: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x4 1600Mhz CL9 1.65V The RAM's voltage is 1.65V and the motherboard supports 1.5V ram. I am a bit scared by this and I don't know what to do.
  14. You did help thanks Is 650W too much ? WoodenMarker said that I can get a smaller PSU so I was thinking of this one ----> CLICK
