Hello, I have just downloaded the latest version of Kali Linux to my pc. As soon as I open I notice the mouse is completely invisible. It is usable, just I can’t see it. All help is appreciated. Running on rtx 2070 16 Gb ram and ryzen 7 2700x

You were right, the grip was slipping off and so the contact was not fully made. -

Let me check in bios..... there is plenty of thermal paste and the cooler is tight on the cpu. I don’t think that should be the problem.... -
Hello everyone, I decided that I wanted to change my Ryzen 7 stock cooler to the cooler master LC240E. I have completed this and now when I boot into windows I am open for about 10 seconds and when I click the x to close out team manager for word etc, the pc just immediately shuts off. I can’t figure out what’s happening! I have an rtx 2070 with ryzen 7 2700x on an asus prime x 470 pro mother board. With 2x8 sticks of ram. I am booting off of a Samsung evo ssd with an extra 2tb hdd. All help appreciated!

UPDATE: I have now tried to re install windows but every time i do the screen stays purple until i get a blue screen of death that says system thread exception not handled! I am still trying to get into the re installer, ntfs.sys is what failed on the blue screen. any help? I can now get into bios.

Also to add more. Sometimes afterwords I boot into a black screen with a moveable pixelated mouse.
